I love this place, and their sushi is one of the best in the zone. They have a big variety in their menus. We didn't have to wait to be sitting, and the service was really nice. We never have complaints, and I totally recommend this place to go with someone, or if you want to go alone, the place is amazing to enjoy the

My experience at Birmingham Sushi Cafe is always beyond expectation. The combination of amazing food, exceptional service, and elegant ambiance make it a memorable dining experience every time we visit. Chef Mikey is the best!

Birmingham Sushi Cafe is a wonderful Japanese restaurant with so many options - including a half page of vegetarian rolls! I would highly recommend the Jalapeno Roll for vegetarians. It was just the right amount of spice and tasted fresh! The edamame was good, although I wish it was flavored as I am used to. The vegetable tempura was delicious! It did seem to get busy on a Thursday night so I would recommend making a reservation.Parking: The parking garage is free for 2 hours.

This place has been on my radar for some months now and yesterday I finally mustered up the courage to order from them. Their menu is super expensive. I got the firecracker roll $17.95 and shrimp fried rice $17.50. Spicy mayo is $1.50 for a small cup. So $40 for two things was one reason that made me hesitant. The firecracker roll is SO GOOD! 9/10. However, the rice was not good. It has green beans and corn in it which was off putting. I've never had fried rice with that in there, definitely would've asked for it to be removed had I known. The biggest factor for me that would make me never return to this place is the older lady works there. Her attitude is so nasty and funky and if I ever have to interact with her there, I'd rather just go somewhere else. Yesterday wasn't my first encounter with her having a funky attitude. I'll probably never eat there again. Glad I got to try it though, I guess.

My favorite sushi restaurant in Birmingham, MI. Sake (Hot or Cold) and wine are back! Hamachi Kama (grilled yellowtail collar) and Spicy tofu soup are very delicious and healthy. Hot stone hamburger steak is a new menu and tastes awesome. Availibility is limted.

Certainly a step above the typical sushi place. Sushi as an art form, delicious, fresh and creative. Very nice staff.

This is one of my favorite sushi spots in the area. Their fried rolls are incredible and I end up getting 1 or 2 every time. The salmon sashimi here is straight #butter. Make sure you check this place out and order at least 3-4 rolls. You can usually always walk in and get a table immediately. The service always on point and makes sure to take care of you right away.

I recommend this restaurant. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. I love that they have artichoke rolls, I don’t know of any other sushi places that offer artichoke. I also like the back of the restaurant has an entrance that opens up to the alley way adjacent to the large parking structure to make parking easy.

All the koreans come here for the Jjampong! It isnt on the menu but you should be able to order by telling the waiter. Seriously one of the best jjampongs in Michigan and the owners are very nice!! Would highly recommend

The old owner of this establishment was Fantastic very very clean people with a very traditional style two sons in college(Princeton) really nice hardworking people. You could tell the really cared about the restaurant and the food they served husband and wife . They sold this place it has new owners. But it still has the same name. The sushi is still delicious And the seafood soup so good. Try the Birmingham roll. Extra good good. Small place big flavor. Great area.

Amazing food, better service, and a great ambiance for anyone looking to have a quick bite in downtown Birmingham. Location is amazing and less than a block from old Woodward. I have lunch here almost every day and the owner is a really nice guy!
