“Claude is a delightful French lady who owns this restaurant. My friend and I felt like we found a real hidden gem with this place that I found had the look and feel of my vacation to Southern France. The quiche and the ham and cheese sandwich (which had a French name) were our favorites. We found that the Cream Brulee wasn't as sweet as we were accustomed to, but I chalk that up to Europeans not using as much sugar as Americans. It was still creamy and delicious. Claude also played the harp beautifully when she was able, between waiting on customers. Overall, it was a wonderful lunch experience. I can't wait to bring more friends and family ❤️“

“Exceptional service paired with an unparalleled seafood selection. The farm egg appetizer and the Branzino dinner dish stand out as culinary masterpieces – both are absolute must-tries. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience. Due to its popularity, especially on weekends, securing a table can be challenging. Advance reservations are strongly advised to ensure you don’t miss out.“

“We visited Coeur recently for the first time. The good: We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant.....very different from the former Assagi. Feel free to come casual. The restaurant was busy but not totally filled. Vibrant but not so noisy you can't talk to other people at your table. We started with the bread basket ($7) that comes with two excellent flavored butter...one quite spicy that I loved personally, and potatoe croquettes which were delicious....light as feather on the inside and crispy on the outside. My wife had the lamb burger and I had the steak frites. Both were cooked perfectly and very tasty as were the delightful fries that came with. We ordered the choc chip cookies for dessert which were good but have had better. Huge wine selection as well. Service was as good as it gets. The "bad"? The menu is pretty limited in terms of main plates. Although we found the portions adequate we heard others at neighboring tables complaining about the portions. Folks, you aren't at Olive Garden so don't expect an obscene amount of food to arrive on your plate. If you are looking for a new place to try on a night out I would recommend giving Coeur a try....just take a peek at the menu to make sure there are options on the menu that are appealing to you and your guests. If there is, you will no doubt enjoy your meal and experience there!“

Crumpets French • $
2601 W Big Beaver Rd, Troy - 1.83 miles

“There was no body else there but our group on a weekday evening. Pleasant place. I have always wondered why the place was called crumpets when they did not offer any crumpets. They are easy to make. A little butter and jam they are delicious. The menu was not extensive for dinner. But good enough.“
