They really need to update their payment methods. I literally could not pay for my food because they didn’t except any tap and I had no other form of payment. They did go by the honor system. So I will be going by there to pay for my dinner as soon as I possibly can. Sometimes I really just wish you would go back to Cash. He said it would be easier go digital it’s gonna be faster not once has it ever been faster than pulling cash out of your pocket!

My recent visit to Leo's Coney Island Birmingham was a refreshing experience, particularly with their Greek salad on the menu. Shame to come back here after being away for many years and finding a husk. They painted over the iconic and beloved tacky murals and installed the whitest lights. The discrepancy between these weird modern paintings and photos and the comfort of the classic booths and flooring is ugly as hell. Leo’s was never the fanciest place, but it was always a comfortable place to go with your friends. Now its half in-half out on this wayward drift into modernity. Culture dies, corpo tastes infiltrate what were once unique business, and the soul is painted over.

Placed my order online and when I arrived they said they had no record of the order. Showed my confirmation email, the waitress printed the ticket and gave it to the kitchen. Took 15 minutes to get my food, my chicken pita had barely any tenders in the wrap as it looked like someone had choked the bottom of the sandwich and the foil and bottom of the sandwich were squished. Asked for cheese on the side for my fries, it was put it on top. Did not provide my requested utensils either. Overall not great.

I've been here a few times recently, and without trying to be too harsh, there were a few issues with the food being burnt and the flavors being off. We had a few dishes that arrived to us dirty and service was definitely lacking in both accuracy and attentiveness. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, so all I'll say is that a lot of things here could use improvement across the board.
