Food is ok and they give barely any salsa. I ordered two burritos and two quesadillas on DoorDash and they only gave one red and one green salsa. Using it sparingly that was enough for one burrito only. Seems stingy

Hidden gem in bham. We frequent a few very authentic Mexican places in Oakland county and wow this place really impressed my wife and I. Add it to the list of awesome authentic tacos and more.Stopped in for a quick bite during lunchtime and everything was on point. The quesadillas were some of the best we have ever had, the cheese was grilled on a griddle and they were packed full of meat. We tried the steak and steak/sausage. Added on a couple of amazing al pastor tacos.Overall the marinades for the meat really made this place stand out. Excellent tomatillo salsa along with pico. And the prices are very reasonable. Everything was super fresh. The restaurant was very clean.Certainly will be back when in the area. Give it a shot. The service was really quick too.

I called to place an order and the price was different than what I normally pay at other locations. I asked the reason why, and they said "It's Birmingham." So, I guess you have to pay more money for the same exact food because it's in an affluent neighborhood. Literally all other locations pricing is the same except this one. I called and left a voice-mail for the manager, I didn't get a call back. We decided to go to the Allen Park location because we just don't agree with the idea of charging people higher prices simply because "It's Birmingham"
As a Birminghamian, this is a nice little mexican spot. Very clean and put together, food is made extremely quickly, very nice to stop in, or take out. Great guac, prices are pretty fair, I like that you can order just a couple things, and there's plenty of options.

Really enjoyed my California burrito here! It's a good spot for lunch where you'll get your food pretty quickly. Also the meal won't break the bank! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was pretty casual.

I admit, having grown up in California, my standards for good Mexican food are probably not calibrated for Michigan. Well, Birmingham, anyway. The ‘steak’ in the quesadilla, a taco, and the bowl we ordered was a lot of gristle. Everything was over-salted rather than seasoned. Pico, in theory, should be easy to get right. So should guac. Ordered 2 guacs, received 1–however, I can’t say I was disappointed about that. Lesson learned.

Best tacos I’ve had in the area. Amazing that after going to dozens of taco places in south east Michigan one of the best is in downtown Birmingham. Carne asada and pastor are both great.
