Environment is nice and clean. Kinda sad they give you paper bowls though. You would think it's a nice sit down restaurant, but the paper bowls dropped it down to a take out place. Not much service besides someone bringing you out the food. Water, silverware and cleaning are all self-served. We got 3 dishes and they are mediocre. Nothing amazed me. Curry noodle was on the saltier side. Fried rice tasted a little artificial, not sure what seasoning they used but my kid didn't like it. Pad Thai was boring but nothing to complain about. Price is reasonable, $15 per dish. Things like beef and shrimp are extra. Overall, would not return for the food or the environment.

Great food. Best Thai in the area. Organic and NO MSG. Place is immaculately clean. So many choices. Multiple choices of spice level. Everything tastes fresh. A must for great Thai

I am a huge Thai food fan but have been struggling to find a good Thai place since Covid. I honestly had given up PLUS I’m super picky about my Thai food.I’ve passed by this place so often and for some reason I was thinking it would be watered down American Thai.Maybe because it’s in a nice strip mall off Woodward, near Square Lake.Boy, I was soooo wrong. The food was amazing. Very very flavorful. High quality. I had lunch with a friend who’s been to Thailand (more than once) and she was also very please with the food.I even had lentils in my dish, something I’ve never seen or tried before but again, so, so, so good.I watched, and they do a lot of carryout, which tells me everyone else already knew how good the food was, I guess I’m just late to the Thai food party. They have an assortment of organic teas which was a nice touch AND it’s very clean inside, which is a major ‘+’ for me.Pete, the owner, was there when we were there. Very personable man. He even came over to see how we liked our food once he learned it was our first time there. All in all, I feel like I can breathe a sign of relief and happiness, that I’ve found high quality, flavorful, Thai food.My new ‘go-to’ ?

This has been our favorite Thai place since 2019. We go there every week pr every other week. We love it! All dishes are light meals and a perfect meal for lunch. I never have the feeling that I overate or the food is heavy on my stomach. You can put your ingredients together however you’d like to. Pad Thai with glass noodles, mild and extra sauce is my favorite. Soooo good!!! Because of the pandemic they changed the style of the restaurants from ceramic dishes to paper, but what never changed was the high quality of the food and the good service of the staff. I highly recommend this place.

I had a "hankering" for more chicken green curry after having some from another (famous) local place last night, and gave this a shot. I like food stupidly hot, and they didn't disappoint! But beyond the heat there's a depth of flavor that is hard to imagine from a food truck! Highly recommend!

In town for a quick business trip working in the same strip mall as Thai Street Kitchen so it made for a very convenient lunch spot. I ordered the drunken noodle with chicken at medium spice level, and spring roll appetizer. The medium spice was of the perfect heat level and the dish made for a very satisfying lunch. I was further impressed later in the day when I observed the owner going above and beyond to help one of his staff through an incident regarding a personal vehicle parked behind the business. Great job TSK! Keep it up!

One important thing to note: this restaurant no longer has waitstaff when dining in. You order and pre-pay at your table by phone (using Toast). I wanted to customize my basil Thai fried rice dish (no egg) but the ordering system does not accept special requests. So of course the entree arrived with egg (even though it wasn't listed as an ingredient). It was pretty flavorless with a minimal amount of basil, surprisingly enough. The vegetable curry was better, but far from the best I've had. The organic tofu is good. This used to be a nice dining experience but not so much anymore. Getting water, utensils and napkins is self serve. Entrees are served in recyclable cardboard paper bowls. And the plates? You guessed it: Recyclable cardboard as well. Waitstaff does bring your food to the table, but not much more. A disappointing experience.

my boyfriend has been going to this place for several years and as a Michigan native who loves all kinds of food this is his favorite in the area. They are also always friendly and have memorized his order. We go to school out of state and he refuses to try any other Thai places.

Food was really good. Didn't love the ordering process or the add on prices. But still worth it.

Sub par food. Ordered a mixed vegetable curry and 90% of the dish was tofu. Cornflour thickened gravy with barely any flavor. My colleague had to send her fried rice back. Food came in paper bowls and plastic spoon and fork. The spoon was a soup spoon and not possible to eat rice with. Small portions. Just a terrible culinary experience overall. Clean though. So I’d give it 1 star for the cleanliness.
