“The Italian dinners, pizza, burgers, and service are all top shelf. They also have a great selection of craft beers on tap, wine, and mixed drinks. If you haven't tried them, you need to and I can assure that you will not be disappointed. The outside patio is certainly appreciated during the summer season too.“

“This place popped up a few years ago. Let's just say it gets better. I travel for a living and really enjoy finding these gems. I tried the newest pizza on the menu and someone was very gratuitous and bought me a beer for trying it there for feedback. Great right. So I sat there enjoying the newest beer with the newest wood fired pizza, I couldn't stop at one slice. They have plenty of seating family style inside but weather permitting there are plenty of tables outside as well. Please stop in and savor the tastes and smells of this place. You won't be disappointed.“

“Didn't order food so can't speak to that, but the vibes are immaculate here. Awesome back patio with cornhole, a fire pit, and foosball. Beer selection is fantastic, the tangerine wheat ale was honestly better than Oberon in my opinion. Plus $3 Malort shots for all of the Chicagoans visiting. If (like our group) you are camping at Warren Dunes and the DNR harassed you for drinking a beer at the state park, or just want a quick beer while in town, would highly recommend this place!“

“Drove past this place a few times over the past 15 years, thought it was just an abandoned building, Surprise, still a functioning bar with Bob the bartender. Once you get past the run down look, the drinks are cheap and the service is good and we ran into a nice crowd who was on a dive bar tour. Small TV so not a place to watch a game, but certainly worth the experience and the story you can tell others. Not many bars around open since 1898.“

“Just started hanging out here weekly, atleast once a week and tongue to cheek, I'm weak, in the knees, and as high as trees whenever the edibles kick in and you and a friend stop in and have a few drinks, me thinks you'll love the atmosphere , even if public places make ya nervous you'll see that they have friendly service. So, come on down, and surely i might be found, having a long island iced tea, or maybe 3, but one thing for sure, ain't nothing free, except this review from me to you.“

“Food: 4/5 (mouthwatering meals!)Service: 5/5 (very kind and accommodating)Atmosphere: 3/5 (okay vibe)I experienced El Sol Azteca today, as my tastebuds craved Mexican food. Very delicious spot in Saint Joseph, Michigan. I had the whole restaurant to myself, so I sat and myself at home. Just to note, there's an 18% dine in tip added to your bill if you decide to eat at the restaurant. But I had a lovely experience. The food was succulent! My plate came out hot and straight from the flattop or grill. I had my favorite Mexican dish in the world, Birrias! The shell was crunchy and flavorful, the dip was dip-tastic, and I enjoyed every piece of meat that fell on my plate. I also had the flavorful Mexican corn and tried the fabulous nachos! I appreciated the complimentary chips and salsa, but if I'm honest, the rice and beans that came with the birrias platter fell flat. The service was appreciated and great! We were greeted with love, and the menu was explained great! The server was amazing and made sure we were comfortable. The atmosphere was a little dark and flat. However, there appears to be some action going on at night at this restaurant, as there was a DJ Booth, Barbie picture setup, sombrero hats, and more to enjoy! I believe the time I came in was not a hot time slot. All in all, there were some really GOOD stuff at El Sol Azteca and some things that could be better. I'm grateful for this lovely restaurant!Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian options on the menu.Kid-friendliness: There's a kid-friendly full menu! Kids eat for $3.99 on some days! My son's quote about his meal, "This is one of the best meals I ever had."Parking: There was plenty of parking when I went. However, the free parking lot is small and awkward to park.Wheelchair accessibility: There's plenty of room for wheelchair accessibility.“

“Had the prime rib and they cooked just fine, pink in the middle and warm throughout. The horseradish sauce was somewhat weak, I prefer mine opens my sinuses. I'll ask if they have something is stronger. The rest of the party enjoyed the dishes, mostly Mexican. Will go here again.“
