Food was good but the meats should have been much hotter. It was luke warm at best. I had the pulled chicken and the brisket.Coleslaw was ok (not sure if it was homemade or not) Mac n cheese was good also could have been hotter. They were at Holliday Park in Westland 5/3

My wife and I made a stop in Deerfield Park North to try a food truck which was in the neighborhood. To our surprise it was BBQ which one of our favorite foods. We tried the 3 meat platter with brisket, pulled port and ribs and all three were delicious. We also had the corned bread and mac-n-cheese as our sides. Needless to say there were no leftovers, we ate every last scrumptious morsel. Hallboy did a great job and I would highly recomend them.
THEE only good bbq at the food truck festival in Frankenmuth MI THIS YEAR! Sweet smoky balance is spot on. Maybe a little more on the sweet side. Had to sit recommended Cornbread thing and LORD… felt like I was back down south. Way to go boys. Keep it up! ?? ?? ?

I am a BBQ hound and have sampled smoked meats all over this fine country. So when I say Hallboy is the best I've ever had, I don't say it lightly. They bring southern and Texas style BBQ to the Midwest and I couldn't be more thankful for it. I've sampled the pulled pork, brisket and ribs and all are packed with delicious smoky flavor. But if you really want something unique do yourself a favor and order the loaded cornbread. The best slice of cornbread you've ever had slathered with savory pit beans and piled high with the meat of your choice. Need I say more?
