I will start with the good.. Good: The host was friendly. The Alfredo smells amazing. The kids spaghetti was good The Bad: You will be confused about the type of restaurant this is. Upscale dinner? Higher end Pizza place? Over priced hole in the wall? The wings is $20 bucks for what I'm assuming (at least hoping) to be precooked. The wings were cold at the bone. Simply put, they can get you sick. Chicken in the Alfredo, appeared to be precooked and precut. Lacking flavor. The service was horrible. Refills are a joke. The first glass larger than the refill glass ?! For Pop and water?! Bread refill appeared to insult the server to ask for more, for a table of 7. Which we never got. The ugly Undercooked chicken. Overpriced food Bad service = Never again

My husband and I went to dinner with 40 friends. 21 couples got together from our church. We were seated in a SMALL room at the back of the restaurant. Everyone was provided a LIMITED menu and no one was permitted to order from the full menu. My husband and I wanted to order pizza but we couldn't. We ended up ordering Chicken Parmesan. The entree was DELICIOUS. Chicken with marinara sauce and melted cheese. Now that I know how private banquets work, I am changing my rating. My husband and I had never had been to this type of event before. We will DEFINITELY return and have dinner together.

Could not be more grateful for Sammy’s for being able to accommodate my party of 15 on such short notice! They were so kind and understanding after another local restaurant screwed me over on my reservation. The food was amazing. The service was great.

I can't say enough about what a great first experience we had tonight. The service was excellent, the food was all fresh and delicious. The vibe was comfortable and not at all pretentious. The pricing was super affordable! The arancini was out of this world. We'll definitely come back!
I would not recommend carrying out from here. The staff at the pick-up counter seemed kind of confused. As I'm watching them pack up my order, I notice that they're putting our desserts in with the hot pasta. I asked them to repack and keep the cold thing separate from the hot. Unfortunately , my tiramisu was already melted. Food and service was much better when they were in their Brownstown location, since moving, it seems the quality of food has taken a nose dive, not to mention getting in and out of that area is horrible. I will say, however, that they do have excellent pizza, but as far as the other menu items, I won't be going back.
