It's a smallish Mom and Pop resturant. We were there for brunch, a Groupon of 6. All happy with the food and service.

First impressions, ugly dining room, space heater blocking the emergency exit door, emergency exit door is also hard to access due to a table directly in front of it and only a couple feet away. The waitress had unprofessional behavior, exhibiting sarcasm and joking around with my mother and stepfather. She was also speaking extremely loud which I find very rude. I got my beverage (ice water) and started looking at the menu. The water tasted absolutely disgusting and the menu had very limited options for children, who are typically picky (3 options before 11 am, 6 after, mostly similar options). Calories were not displayed on the menu. I ended up ordering a single buttermilk pancake with no sides (I will say, it was cheap though :). My pancake tasted like cardboard and after eating it, left me feeling uncomfortably bloated so I wish they would have had more options on the children's menu for smaller servings.

Wow, is all that I can say ..and it's not in a positive wayOur waitresses had an attitude that wasn't positive, and it would come and go right from the startI had a western omelet, the smallest I have ever seen. One slice of toastNo hash browns because that was $2.99 extra..... ( she a point of informing me of that one ) not in a positive way, eitherThis is the second time I have been here in many years , I'll more than likely not come back again either. I'll go down the road to Whisper café from now on

I stopped at this place on my way to Traverse City, and it was DELICIOUS! I got the big breakfast. Everything was perfect! The eggs were so hot and good, the bacon was crispy (my fault I forgot to ask it to be made soft, floppy), and I was surprised how the hashbrowns actually tasted like potato. I thought all hashrowns were like at Denny's (tasteless). But the best of all were the:Sausage links. OMG so good and SO HOT! At most places they are lukewarm, but here they were so hot and tasted so good. I swear the last time I had such good and HOT sausage links were when my class and a bunch of classes from a bunch of schools went to a place called Mystic Lake Camp. I've always remembered how good and HOT their breakfasts were even when serving hundreds of students and dozens of teachers.

Very friendly waitresses and prompt service. Food was excellent. I had the fried fish... Very small portion (only two little pieces) but it came with a boatload of fries and a little coleslaw. My friends sesame chicken portion was large and very tender and tasty. My friend got a long john to eat on the way home and I got an Apple fritter which unfortunately did not have much apple in it at all (only one chunk to be precise). Overall we liked the experience and I would stop again.

Homemade bun on hubby's burger was delicious. I had steak and cheese wrap, it was so good! Took homemade carrot cake, cinnamon roll and blueberry cream cheese donuts, all of it wonderful! We will be back

An authentic unassuming roadside diner serving great quality breakfast food all day. Pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and great value.Vegetarian options: Excellent veggie omelette or veggie scramble eggs. Other menu options are available without meat on demand
