We had heard good things so decided to give it a try on a Friday night. They were quite busy and we had about a 15 minute wait for a table for 4. Here is what we liked: * Seating was available at the bar, there just wasn't 4 available. So the wait could have been shorter if it was just the two of us like normal. * Able to order drinks at the bar for our wait in line. Very reasonable drink prices. * Everyone we encountered in the service team was friendly. * The mozzarella sticks were good, a nice gooey cheese and flavorful breading cooked crisp. * We ordered the dry rub cod 2pc dinner and the cod was cooked perfect, and just tasty. * Also tried the walleye beer battered fish dinner and it was large pieces and cooked crisp and just as tasty. Getting extra tartar sauce was a breeze, also like tartar sauce. * Call me weird, but coleslaw can make or break a fish dinner. Theirs was chilled and crisp, not soggy and a little sweet. Very good. * Appreciate the fries were hot. *The cheeseburger was a solid good. What could of been better: * Pretzels and cheese are a must if a restaurant has it on their app menu. These pretzels were cute little bites but nothing special. However the cheese dip was cold, just hard to dip into cold cheese and more of a fan of a warm cheese for my pretzels. * While the fries were hot, they needed salt or a seasoning. * The ladies room was having issues, it happens. However once it was brought to the staffs attention, it wasn't to the end of our meal they indicated they had another on the other side of the building. * It was a busy Friday night, but service was slow. Long waits in between ordering, getting appetizers then finally dinner. Overall, the food was good and prices are quite reasonable. We want to come back and try another night and see how the service is and try a few other dishes. They are the beaten path but worth the drive to try again.

We had never been here, was recommended by a friend. Pull into the parking lot and it's busy. I'm thinking must be a really good place. Walk in, placed seems packed and there's a sign to seat yourself. Tables are lined up, so we are try to figure out do we sit with other people or what? Went to sit down. Unfortunately they were expecting more people. Found another table and then another lady said they had 2 seats available. I'm like alrighty then. Sit down and waiting for a waitress. Mind you this is a Friday night. Only 1 waitress. Trying to give benefit of the doubt, someone must have called in sick or something. She finally acknowledged we were there after a minimum of 20 minutes. Took drink order. Brought those fairly quickly and took off. Comes back and gets our order. We waited so long to give it we forgot we wanted to ask about one of the appetizers. Finally get her attention asked about it and ordered. Waited at least another half hour or longer for our food. Meanwhile we spot another waitress had come in, she cleared the cottage cheese dish from our table. Hubby had the cod and said it was good. I had a mushroom Swiss, it sucked. The burger had no flavor whatsoever, of course the mushrooms had flavor. The burgers I get at Sam's and grill have way more flavor. We eat, not once did our waitress ask if we needed or wanted anything. We had finished and was waiting for our bill. Waited and waited. Hibby even went to the bathroom and came back and still no bill. We could have easily walked without paying we waited so long. We got up from the table and waited. Finally get the bill from her and she stood right there waiting for the payment, as if we were going to walk without paying. We already had the opportunity to do that if we were going to do that. We were using cash so I had to know how much to get it out. Turned my back to set my purse down to get into it, turned back around and she disappeared. Spotted her, handed it to her. I didn't want to tip, but either due to poor scheduling or call ins she was by herself for a little while and I felt bad but when someone came in, wasnt helping much. Our dinners cost less than half of our bill, hubby had 1 beer I had tea and we had the appetizer. We would have had a better burger from culvers and spent less than half of what we did tonight. I will probably never go back and would not recommend to anyone.

I usually have a good experience here. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and instead of sauteed onions I ordered it with everything plus deluxe. The $14.99 burger turned into an $18.00 plus burger. Seems a bit excessive for onion, pickle, a slice of tomato, and lettuce.
