Great location and the atmosphere has the BBQ vibe. Ordered pork tacos with all the fixings and the chips with dip. Both were mild in flavor. Maybe I needed to add bbq sauce? I’d still come back again and choose something that different.

Canned Mac and cheese. Greasy, overcooked tater tots. Brisket and pulled pork were mealy, overcooked and extremely dry. They were out of beans and cornbread at 2pm. Drinks took forever. Tables weren't overly clean.If I wanted a cafeteria style meal, I'd rather go eat my my sons grade school lunch room.Bad concept, bad food. Wouldn't even give it a second chance, waste of money.

Terrible Service. First of all, communal seating. Guests and Parties had to fight over whose seat was whose when the hostess sat people in spots where people had gotten up to get a drink or food. Which leads to the next point, guests shouldn't have to wait in a long slow line get their own food which is of average quality, this isn't Wendy's. 3rd of all they only had 2 people running around taking drink orders and we rarely got someone to drink order we were able to flag down the manager who instead of taking our order after waiting a long time just tried to track down one of the 2 young staff who were running around. 4th really frustrating point, when. We did finally get our drinks my husband's drink had a large chuck of food reminanet inside the glass when it was served to him AND the waiter tipped over my sister's FULL drink, brought her a new one and we got charged for the spilled one. Do not recommend.

Got to try out this place after hearing good reviews. It has a different style of ordering your food at the counter but it’s all fresh BBQ and delicious, the rib special was so good. The service is outstanding and good drinks options. The owner stopped by to check in and was extremely nice. We will be back.

I went to this place for the first time when they first opened and they had a full assembly line of happy workers! Today when I arrived (several months later) the line was all the way to the door, yet there was only one person at the cash register and one person preparing all the food (compared to the 5+ at opening). As a business owner, I know that we are no longer in a staffing crisis. So it just makes me wonder: what happened to all of the lovely staff that used to work here? There must be more to this story……I ordered an original bratwurst and received jalapeño cheese. I was not about to re enter the massive line, so I ate it, and it was good for the most part. I’m just glad I’m not lactose intolerant.

Easy go-to, has all you need for a night out. Live music was great. My crew at The Brothers That Just do Gutters did their gutters last summer. Glad I finally got a chance to check it out.
My husband loved the pull pork sandwich. Mash potatoes and tator tots were cold. Not even warm at all. I had chicken tenders. They were ok. Not impressed.

People are friendly but the meat is always cold. The tables are community style so you will be sitting next to other people. There are no sound absorption pads so it is very loud especially for early dinner as there are a lot of kids in. Would be better with some acoustic pads to dampen the sound and some better heating for the food.

We love butcher block social- both carry out and dine in have been great experiences! We get it as carry out quite frequently and they’ve never missed anything and package the food so well! The food has always been top notch and such a fun atmosphere in person. Great addition to Caledonia!
