We love Firerock. Should look into Redwater Membership. My husband Damion Payne and I live in Byron Center and thus is one of our go to places for spur of the moment dinner on Weekend or Weekday or for cocktails. We like sitting in the bar area so we can watch the game...March Madness this past weekend. Food was great and drinks too. The Bartender was great we were there @ 7:30 to close. My only complaint was some of the staff started setting up for Easter Brunch so it was quite distracting as we tried to enjoy each other's company and our food/drinks. They also left thr door to patio open and it was cold and uncomfortable. We get thr need to prepare for the next day but we really thought that should be done once your guest sitting by the doors (us) we're finished or after closing. It was so cold and breezy Sat Night sitting there that my husband got up to shut the door.

My husband and I wanted to try the lobster bisque so we decided to get take out. After looking at the menu, we decided on the larger bowl size instead of the cup size. When I saw the two bowls in the bag I questioned the staff to make sure these were bowls not cups. She assured me saying that the green containers were bowls and the orange containers were cups. There was no more than 8 ounces in each of these containers and I actually think there was less than that as you can see the containers were not even full. If these were bowls, I'd hate to see what you get for a cup portion!! Charging $10.00 each you definitely do Not get what you pay for here.Just to be fair I will say the flavor was good.

Food took over 90 min from the time we sat down, more empty tables than ones with guests so it wasn’t busy! Blackened salmon tacos were pale and mushy…wouldn’t recommend. Oh and what’s the banana aftertaste in your lobster bisque? It’s not appetizing. Overall not a good experience for food!

We love the FireRock Grille. We go once in a while. It’s my favorite place to go on my birthday. On your birthday you get 1/2 off. We have never had a bad experience there. The wait staff is amazing. The food is so beyond delicious. I usually get a wagyu steak or a ribeye. They come with three sauces, I love the bistro sauce, I have a chef acquaintance who went to school with the chef at FireRock. He found out the ingredients but no measurements. I am close to getting it right. For me a recipe is a starting point. So I have removed ingredients and added my own. It tastes similar to the bistro sauce it’s good. I highly recommend the FireRock Grille. Try it on your birthday so you get your meal half off.
Went to visit an old Air Force buddy in Grand Rapids Michigan. He recommended the fire rock grill for our Friday night dinner. We were not disappointed. Service was A1. Wish I knew our waiters name but she was on the ball. Food was great and atmosphere was a lot of fun. Busy place but we never waited for nothing. Try it you won’t be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: Again, the waitress was very friendly and very efficient

Another great trip to Firerock. We cannot highly recommend this place enough. My wife got the salmon this time, I ordered the Walleye. Both dishes were amazing, again. The drinks are always 100% and the wait staff are so responsive and helpful. Just stop here check it out!

Hadn't been in years and still a fabulous place!! Great red wine called "Quilt" Service was pleasant. Go early to avoid a wait. Food is fresh and hot!! Pan fried walleye was delicious-perfectly cooked couscous-only down fall should come with 2 sides (preferably a salad and veggie) especially for the price Hubs had beef fajitas-perfect
