Was hungry for some sushi with my family so we decided to go to Jaku. The server sounded like she didn’t understand some of our requests. Told her we have a family member who is allergic to shrimp, and to cook her food separately. After we ordered the food she decided to tell us that all the deep fried foods were cooked in the same oil so it was disappointing to hear that. I ordered seafood ramen and took a few bites and tasted some mud in the ramen. So I was searching in the bowl and flipped over a mussel to find that it wasn't thoroughly cleaned. The manager came out and apologized said he would take it out of my bill, but it still showed up on the bill. I do not recommend going there for Ramen or for people who are allergic to shrimp!!

Delicious lunch and good timing on the service.We saw the other great reviews on yelp, and decided to skip panera (next door) and try Jaku.we ordered the crunch, munch burrito and the burrito with bacon, tuna and mango in it. The gyoza especially delicious… Crispy the outside, and a delicious filling with the sweet eel sauce on the side. we also shared edamame and had a spicy California roll and the almond joy roll.We did not have to wait very long for the food even though every table in the restaurant was filled. It’s a small place that had very niceWe brought our 80 yr parents to the restaurant and they enjoyed the edamame, gyoza & sushi very much. The ginger had a bit of a kick, which they declined to try, but we loved.we ended up bringing 2 halves of the burritos home for dinner leftovers. Loved it!Parking: just a few spots in front and lots of businesses all around the area

My fiancé and I decided to order out from this place and my god, we chose a great place! Their sushi just melts in your mouth is all I can describe it. All the flavors come together and just have a party in your mouth. Each sushi was made to perfection and they made sure not to put the ones with sauce touching the others without sauce. And all the sauces on each roll tasted amazing, the Michigan roll had a sweet sauce on it that made it blend with the roll so well! I also look their online menu where you can add cream cheese or a certain vegetable to a roll. The online ordering is very simple and easy to use. I can’t believe it took us so long to try this place, we always would go past it on the ones that on beltline but the Caledonia ones is closer to us. This is definitely our new sushi spot and will be coming here as often as we can ❤️ Also, love how they are not too expensive, but even if they were, I would still come back!!

Have you tried Jaku’s ramen menus yet? You better try!! I can certainly claim that ‘The best ramen place in Michigan.’ My wife said “Tonkotsu Ramen is fantastic.” My favorite is Tonkotsu Ramen with Spicy flavor. Very friendly and perfect serving as well.
Jaku has very good sushi. The prices got out of hand after the pandemic so it is not a place we frequent anymore.

Very small place but food is great to satisfy for some sushi! I've came here a few times but never took pictures until now. I always get the Crunch Munch Sushi Burrito and it's one of the best things on their menu. Anything for a sushi burrito, I'm coming to this spot. Workers are very kind and I can't wait to check in more to explore more options on their menu!

My husband and I have tried a handful of sushi joints in town, and we tend to order takeout. Every time we stray we kinda wish we ordered from Jaku.We do decent sized orders, usually a sushi burrito for each of us, a starter, and 4-6 rolls. What we get is always delicious, and items are good size and worth the price. Unlike other places where you pay a lot for a small roll or a two-piece appetizer lol. Love Jaku!
