Our family ordered takeout from here and while the food was good, my brother ended in the ER with a toothpick lodged in his throat from the BREAD! We spent the entire night in the hospital while he was sedated in an attempt to dislodge it- which they were unsuccessful in. This is a life or death concern! The negligence of food care is VERY concerning. How does this happen?!

***BUYER BEWARE***Check your food for foreign objects!!! My uncle and I recently ordered some food from Al Ameer for takeout, the food itself tasted fine, however there was a toothpick inside of the fresh baked bread that I was eating that ended up getting logged in the back of my throat. Long story short that ended up with a trip to the ER to get it removed not to mention the piece fell down my throat to cause potential unknown damage. Al Ameer was apologetic but never offered any assistance with medical bills or even a simple refund.. Their claim was that there's no way a toothpick could of got in the bread dough... But the fact of the matter is it did. I hope that whomever reads this post takes this into account the type of service/hospitality offered by Al Ameer because they flat out don't care about their customers and their apology is meaningless and insincere.

The chicken shawarma was quite good but the fatoush salad was wilted iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and onions. Disappointing.

Ordered a tawook sandwich, mixed shawarma combo and chicken tenders with fries. The meat was old and very dry and overly salty for each of our meals. Worst tawook I’ve ever had. The guy answering the phone and taking our order could not understand what we wanted despite speaking perfectly good English. Canton has plenty of places to get a decent tawook sandwich. Go there instead.

I dined at this restaurant yesterday with my parents, and we order many different types of food, from the appetizers, to the falafel, to the Shawarma, everything was beyond delicious and very clean. The employees working here were also very attentive and accommodating. I would highly recommend dining in or ordering carry out. Great service and great atmosphere.

The food was fantastic, the almond chicken was very tasty and the falalel was fresh and crispy, one of the best I have ever eaten. The service by Sameer was the icing on the cake. He was very courteous, and gave us some amazing suggestions for food.Dietary restrictions: Halal

Best shawarma in the area. Bread made fresh on site! But not really for dining in - just a couple of small tables where you CAN eat but intended more as a waiting area. The main restaurant is in Dearborn Heights.Dietary restrictions: Halal, if course

This location is radically different from the other, larger buildings. It still has a great feel and large menu to choose from. The food was hot and fresh, and our front counter worker was polite and expedient. We each ordered our own favorites this time. She had the Shish Tawook and its garlicky excellence while I picked up the Shish Kafta with its beefy flavors. Both were good, with us preferring the Tawook. The kafta was a little dry but tasty.Alongside this, we nabbed an order of the falafel, and I am so glad we did. They were on point! Even the side veggies were tasty. I'm definitely ordering these again. Also, we got an order of their fresh bread in the bag, and it is so darn good.Would recommend. Will come back.
