Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and a coffee. Overpriced at $18.00.I don't know what they did to the instant mashed potatoes, but it tasted like they put three times the amount of salt than the recipe called for. I don't know how anyone can ruin instant mashed potatoes, but they did. My mouth was burning, and I couldn't get enough to drink. It wasn't the waitress's fault. She was tipped more than 20%, but I did tell her to have the cook taste the potatoes. (No offer to replace with some other potato product) They needed to start over with a new batch before someone had a stroke from the salt. It was like someone misread a quarter cup of salt, and they put in 3/4 cup. Please be careful - sometimes people are very sensitive to salt. You probably could have gotten away with not putting any salt in those instant mashed potatoes! They put one type of chunky gravy on the chicken fried steak and another type of gravy on the potatoes. I probably won't ever stop here again. Can't trust them to make anything without ruining it, and then charging an overpriced amount.

I have been going here for 4 years. I love to have their Chicken and Waffles with a side of grits. As a matter of fact sometimes I just have grits, toast, and coffee. The grits are creamy and buttery. The wings are now wing dings but it's seasoned really well. If you are in a hurry call ahead and order take out. If you are ok relaxing over a decent cup of coffee while your food is being prepared, sit down and enjoy.

Everything we got was delicious and the servers are always friendly and great ?. The strawberries and cream french toast I got was delicious and my girlfriend's avocado toast looked really good!Will be back to try more ?
Several of us myself and coworkers come in as often as we can and tell others how great the Village is we’ve got to know the owners and ladies that serve us and feels like having breakfast lunch or dinner with family the food is always good thank you keep up the good

All I have to say is wow!!! I’ve tried several different items off the menu and everything has been consistently delicious. I’ve only ever ordered carry out but I’m always greeted with a warm welcome. The rum butter sauce for the bananas foster pancakes is life changing!

I’ve ordered breakfast and dinner and every meal I’ve ever gotten has been above and beyond amazing. I get the banana fosters pancakes (if you have any semblance of joy in life you will try those pancakes and witness the glory they bestow upon your taste buds) and eggs Benedict for breakfast and split the two with my partner and it’s always filling for us. For dinner I usually get the fish and chips and it’s nice hefty portion of fish. Every time I’ve gone in to pick up the order I always feel very welcomed and thoughtfully attended to.

I have been looking for Eggs Benedict since Covid. I had to stop at Petco and give this little gem a try. I walked in and was immediately greeted by my waitress Diane. She was an absolute delight to talk to. I opened the menu and first thing I saw on the menu was Eggs Benedict, so obviously I was quick to order those. I also ordered my Hash Browns crispy with grilled onions. The Eggs Benedict and hashbrowns looked like the photo on the menu. I wasn't expecting such an amazing presentation! They both tasted even better than they looked! Honestly the best I have ever had! I was in no rush to eat and leave, so I got a chance to meet the owner and staff. All are very professional and friendly. My wife wasn't able to join me today, but I am looking forward to taking her there in the very near future. I think we found our new little local stop!
