“Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday to order their steak dinner for 2 special. It did not disappoint and was an incredible value to boot.Restaurant looks to be either new or recently remodeled, service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic.The special includes 2 8 oz strip steaks with salad and mashed potatoes. The steaks were cooked to perfection (ordered medium rare) and not overseasoned. The salad was a delicious mixed green salad with generous portions of veggies and the mashed potatoes were also delicious!If I lived locally I would definitely eat here often!“

“Got a 18 inch pepperoni, button and portobello mushroom pizza. The time was prompt, and the owner had a lot of love and passion for his craft. The pizza sauce was a little sweet for my liking, however overall the pizza was fantastic.The price is good for the location, and I will definitely be coming back whenever I crave a good pizza and some wisdom in rockford.I tend to be a bit of a talker, and the owner was patient, and had a lot of wisdom to share. I highly highly reccomend trying this place.“

“This was mine and my fiance's first time here! He wanted Woodfire pizza and we looked for the closest to us. The atmosphere was amazing, having wine right next door was perfect and that pizza was addictive. Are only complaint was they don't deliver yet ? but seriously they start delivering we are totally there! Definitely worth the money and fresh ingredients. Will be back. The leftovers were just as good!“

“I'm a bit of a French Dip snob, and I have to say, the French Dip I had at the Toasted Pickle in Rockford today was one of the best I've ever had. 9 outta 10. My husband had the Tipsy Texan, and he rated it an 8 out of 10. (This is a very high score coming from him!) The beer battered fries were a solid 7... a teensy tiny bit over seasoned but otherwise very good! Downtown Rockford is adorable, and we had no idea... we'll definitely be back to explore, and we will certainly be returning to The Toasted Pickle!“

“I'll be the first to admit I don't drink brown or dark beers because they're not my thing.I bought a 6 of Rogue River Brown to try on the sole reason the can looked like a trout!I'm glad I did.The beer wasn't heavy, bitter or overbearing. I really enjoyed it. I've gotten away from craft beer, but if their other offerings are this good, I might just get dragged back in.Giver a go!“
