The food was typical diner food. Nothing spectacular. Note: It shouldn't take 45 minutes for an order of Fish n Chips to arrive. I know first world problem. Service was very nice. Have to say the decor was very worn and outdated.

Most of the review is in relation to staffing. I know there is new ownership, so I hope they take these criticisms to heart. The bartender was responsible for half of the whole restaurant tables in addition to their bartending duties. They were running everywhere and while they made a valiant effort, service inevitably suffers, and the customer facing service industry is brutal enough without making your staff literally run and sweat everywhere while trying to take care of half a restaurant (and the bar) singlehandedly. I DO NOT FAULT OUR SERVER. The fault rests with management. If she is the owner/responsible management, that's a different story. I will add, the server on the other side sent us to the bar side when she saw a large (9 people) group come in.On the food, it seems to be at least as good if not improved upon what was offered before. Giving a bag of cheap potato chips is a lame side, just don't include a side, knock a dollar or two off the price and let the customer select optional sides, the fries look great, the bagged potato chips, not so much. You're a restaurant, make this ish in house, or we might as well eat at home.

Had a New York strip here probably one of the best steaks I've ever had in over 30 years in the road absolutely delicious cooked perfectly. The server I believe Ryssa was incredible... The steak was so good I had to tell the owner who actually serves it to me... You want good food you won't go wrong here check it out plenty of parking for semis

We stopped in for dinner last night, just wanted to try something new. Stivers doesn't bring food to mind for me but I was wrong. The food was so good! We took a 5 year old and they served her first and kept her happy. The chopped steak and potatoes were so good! I will absolutely stop in again.

The food was very good, especially the soup. The server was very friendly. Restaurant is just off I94.
Ordered 12 Oz sirloin...it's hamburger.... mash potatoes and gravy....meat was raw and still cold....potatoes were dry old and cold...tasted funny..was told they mix sour cream and chives into them...they were awful....the waitress was snotty short tempered....they also had frozen mixed vegetables on the plate...she told me they weren't supposed to be on my plate...but don't worry she wouldn't charge me...I've stopped there before it's been ok...but im finished with them...

Since the change in management, the food has gone downhill and the prices are higher. loved the old chicken dummies and Cole slaw. The decor is much better now but that's about it.

Had a very relaxing and enjoyable evening listening to Karaoke coming from the bar. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Had a little snafu with the steak my husband ordered. Sam the owner came out and apologized, which was very professional. They cooked another steak and made me a new burger. Both meals were excellent and Missy our server was super nice. Thank you for your service we truly do appreciate what you do.

Service was slow and the food was terrible. Stopped in for lunch and it was not very crowed. We ordered our food, BLT and Gyros platter. Took 40 minutes for food to arrived. When it did, it was pathetic. The gyros meat was burnt, the texture of very crisp bacon and no flavor. The piece of spinach pie was okay, but at 15.95 you expect more. The BLT was similar, overcooked bacon and bland. It was all very bad. Even though I am local to the area, I won't be eating here again. There are too many good places around and not have to was money on bad food.
