“Great family place forsure. One thing I was absolutely surprised about was they had a separate gluten free menu. So for all of you that have Celiac like me, you do not have to worry as the variety in the menu is quite large compared to a lot of other establishments. Service was good, food was great, and the atmosphere felt like home in a way. Don't really know how to explain that one, but was just a feeling. I've gone by this place so so many times over the years and this was my first time here....and enjoyed it a lot. So make sure you stop by one of their Metro locations and feast.Vegetarian options: A lot of Italian dishes are vegetarian and meat is optional if you are not into certain animals or any at allDietary restrictions: They have a gluten free menu which a lot of places don't have“
“Had to knock the atmosphere a tiny bit because I'm really wanting him to start up a Fenton location with a larger eat-in area :)Got to know the owner a tiny bit while waiting for our take-out orders of a couple of pizza's and a salad to finish, and what a nice guy. Can't wait to be back and try their deep dish chicago style“
“There was about 15 of us that went to Art and Jakes in Clarkston on Sunday for a Detroit Lions game. We arrived a few hours early knowing there would be many people coming for the game and got a great spot in the bar area. Our waitress, Kendall, was nothing short of outstanding. The place got absolutely packed for the game, and we had different groups joining our table throughout the day, and this girl never got rattled or lost the friendly smile on her face. If we needed an extra chair or two, management was on it. From someone who spent 16 years in the restaurant industry, I know when people just get it right and they do. The food is great too, but the service is what I call "winning at the margins". It was such a fun atmosphere and a great time. My group had many compliments about the team.If your in the area or looking for a stop on your way to Pine Knob or to watch sports, I highly recomment you stop in.“
“The selection of alcohol, food and everything else imaginable is outstanding. The store is very organized and it’s easy to find everything you’re looking for. All the staff is friendly (especially Nick). You’d be hard pressed to find any other liquor store that remotely comes close to the beauty that is Pine Knob Wine Shoppe.“
“Seems like we always make our way to Clarkston and the Union every trip to Detroit even though it's gotta be 30/40 minutes out of the city.We flew into Detroit for a family visit last week and went to The Union on our way to family house. The food is always lights out and that day was no different! Chicken noodle soup was outrageous. Of course we got the famous Mac n Cheese, two orders actually as one was for us and. The other to take along to the house and share. The surprise winner though was the homemade meatloaf! Maybe the best I've ever had, top 2 at the very least. Thanks for the great meal and see y'all next time.“
“So this isnt my first time going here but the gentleman who is working during the day (visted at Monday at 4) he's amazing. Super kind taking the orders and if he's also the one who makes them,he's a pizza making God. He doesn't short your experience one bit, definitely the best location with amazing food. ❤️ Thank you for the great service ❤️❤️❤️ I just want to say it's been so hard to not just call back and tell how amazing you guys are I really do appreciate even I'll kindly he asked if I wanted anything else else while giving me detail on those“
“Guidos is the spot for comfort pizza in Clarkston. I consider myself to be somewhat of a Pizza aficionado, and there is something special to the recipe here. We mix it up with different Pizzerias depending on what we want, sometimes it's a Detroit Deep Dish from a Bud ;) Other times a crispy traditional pie from the bakery up the road :D We keep coming back to Guidos, and will continue to do so as long as we're here!“
“It's mostly a takeout spot but they do have a few tables available to sit down and eat your food which is a plus. Service was super friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. You can never go wrong with some Highland house breadsticks and cheese dip. The sandwiches are some of the best around in my opinion. We waited about 15 minutes for our food from the time we ordered so that was a big plus. Lots of parking available as it's in a shopping complex. Great time and will definitely be back.“
“We were unaware it was now open for lunch on weekends again. What a pleasure it was today. Food was good as usual. Great Bloody Mary and excellent service from pleasant greeters to Alex, our server/bartender/new best friend. Can’t wait to go back.“
“Just tried this place for the first time and it was wonderful. The service made it even better. Everything tasted fresh and seemed reasonably priced. Breadsticks and cheese dip were to die for and the sauce to cheese ratio on the pizza was perfect. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their food!“
