Don't even know where to start! Went there Saturday for a family dinner. There was 39 of us. Let me start with the service, waitress was rude, tossed our bread on the table, then snatched the bowl out of my hand ( in which her co-work seen and reported to manager). Food was brought out slow in between courses and mosticolli was cold. Then we received our bill was for 39 people was charged for 42. They charged us 24.95 for a 6 month old baby. Not sure where the other 2 charges were (guess we paid for 2 people that wasn't not in our party). Then try to resolve this issues with the manager was a complete joke. The way he talked to was like we was lying and trying to get free meals. Very condescending and unprofessional for a manager. Needless to say it was not the Easter family dinner we were hoping for. So if you choose to have a large party gathering, I suggest you look elsewhere. We sure will!

Not really sure how to rate this one... we were a party of 8. Overall, service was very slow and just not that good. Food was good, prices have increased and the portions on some of the food seemed to be smaller (still plenty, but we all noticed that far more leftover containers were needed than normal). For example, I had the Gnocchi Rita which is my favorite! It was good, but with tax and tip it was $30 and a much smaller portion than it has been in the past. Service wasn't great- for example, 7 of us received our soup or salad; the 8th person did not get her salad, despite us asking us for it twice, until the rest of the table had finished their soups or salads. It was also brought with the dressing on the salad and it had been asked for dressing on the side (which everyone asked for). We asked several times and we asked three different people for butter and never received it. Multiple times had to ask for water. We waited quite a while for our bills and waited so long for her to come back to take them, that most of us scrounged up the cash so we didn't need change and just left the money on the table. The waitress was clearly overwhelmed and nobody was helping her, nor were they that busy at the time. We were a pretty low maintenance group and we weren't in a hurry, but we were there for almost 2.5 hours - no appetizers and no desserts were had. The other thing that was really annoying.... If you want bread before you order, there is a $7.95 charge - we waited until we ordered and for 8 people they brought 1 bread basket with 10 pieces of bread.

Today, we had the most horrible time I have ever experience at a restaurant. We reserved a party of 39 people, we waited for drinks for 30 minutes, server was rude, snatched a plate of pasta out of my aunts hand, and was so incredibly unprofessional that her follow waitress went to the manager to compain about her. As my sister walked in with her infant child she was scolded for having a stroller, they brought over a height chair but she was not able to sit on her own. I was then charged for 3 extra people 1 being my infant niece who can not eat… there reason was there was a height chair brought over. Her mother couldn’t eat bc she had to hold the baby who was not allowed to be in the stroller. No refills, service was horrible & they charged me $30 to use my debit card to pay the bill. Everytime we frequent this place there is an issue… this will be my last time here.

I ordered chicken noodle soup to go it had very little chicken in it so I told the waitress to make sure there was Chicken in it this time when I got home it had more carrots and chicken so I called the manager and it took me about 10 minutes for them to get on the phone I had to use two phones to finally talk to the manager and then he personally told me that he watched them put the chicken in it

Sad this place use to be so great. Service terrible all the staff sitting in a booth ignoring customers. Spent an extra hour there due to waiting on anything we asked for. They need a manager to whip this place back in shape.Sad to see this go down hill so

We ordered a pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, and green pepper. We received a pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, and some kind of meat that might be sausage. It was takeout - get it right. We called, they offered that we could bring it back so they could show their staff that they made the wrong pizza? Really? How about offering to make it right? Maybe give us a free pizza so we come back. On the bright side, the Greek salad was pretty good. But there are lots of pretty good Greek salads in the Dearborn/Dearborn Heights area.

I cant even believe Im having to write this review! I have been going to the Antonios restaurants for well over 20 yrs, multiple locations. Have had multiple baby showers, birthday celebrations, proposals, bridal showers, Christmas parties, work parties and date nights! And never have had a problem other than usual issues you run into such as food temperature or slow service where you can get anywhere. So to get to the point, my Sister who moved to TN comes here a few times a year and as always we go there when she is here. Well as we walk in there is a sign on the door that says if you pay with debit or credit cards there will be a 3% charge. So they automatically put the 3% on the bill without even asking if you're paying cash! If you pay cash it comes off supposedly. Credit card companies charge a fee anyway to businesses so let's just take a little extra. In todays economy higher prices are becoming the norm I get it, the cost of food has risen but people still like to enjoy themselves so budget accordingly for a night out. So imagine our surprise when my Sisters bill was around $8 more than usual! She gets the same thing every single time, Linguine with clams in white wine sauce. She orders it as "Linguine with light clams and extra extra garlic, swimming in garlic" she has had to send it back a couple times so she adds 5 times the garlic which usually ends up like maybe 3 tbs of garlic, not bad for a garlic lover. So our meals come and of course she is excited to start eating it. Service was great the waitress was very friendly so no complaints there. So we get our bills and she notices hers is $8 more. She called the waitress over and asked why her bill was so much more higher. She said because you wanted extra garlic! Seriously, she was literally charged $7.50 for 5 times the garlic! Which was probably 3 tbs! We spoke with one of the Managers about it and of course asked since when do you charge for extra garlic? He said they should have been all along. She got light clams so that saved money then and garlic isnt expensive, sorry but it just isnt, $2.50 for 8 oz! And the good clams are like $5 for 6 oz! There was only a few thrown in like she asked. After a little back and forth banter he said he would talk to what Im assuming would be the Bigger Manager. He came back and pretty much said it had to stay in the bill. Then offered to meet us halfway, she said no take the money we just wont be back. I said there will definitely be a review going on Yelp to warn people be careful when they ask for anything extra! I gave gotten whole pieces of Salmon on the side for $8 at other places. You would think with today's economy restaurants would be grateful people are coming in. But to be honest for a Friday night at dinner time they weren't very busy, maybe the extra gauging is making people take their business elsewhere. Trust me I have no problem paying extra for more substantial ingredients, but not condiments such as ketchup, mustard, onions etc. I dont feel like it's warranted. So $2 roughly a TBS is a little much! Its sad really that a Manager would not even say, Im sorry this time I will remove it but for the future be aware there will be a charge for extras. Nope just smiles and saying sorry. So you would rather miss out on a $50 plus sale, and lose a customer and future party bookings to make $7 for extra garlic? Oh and the kicker is the Manager said they charge for that much extra garlic because the cost of everything has gone up, and get this it ruins the integrity of the dish! Seriously have you not heard of 40 clove garlic Chicken? Let the consumer decides how the integrity is! People may think this is petty, and thats fine. But people work hard for their money and we dont need to be taken advantage of. So we will take our business elsewhere and chalk it up to a learning experience, always ask first for extras! We will miss you Antonios!
