We found ourselves looking for a place to get dinner and didn't want to go far because of bad weather. Frankly I don't know why this place isn't popular. It's very warm and welcoming and the food is really good. The fattoush here is some of the best I've had literally ever. My dad enjoyed his de-bone chicken (which is rare) and I thought the chicken gallayeh was delicious. The food is good. The place is decorated super nicely. The staff are friendly. I'm definitely coming again.

My husband and I went for Dinner last week, 2nd time going here & was giving it a second chance. As advertised, Hot bread, there was No Hot bread, as advertised Smoothies, there was No fruit for the smoothies. Our waiter brings over stale/dry bread for us to eat. There is hardly anyone in the restaurant we have gone 2x so far two different times and no one, maybe if they had what they advertised there would be more people. Food was ok, was looking forward to having the Hot bread with the hummus but Nope, we should of turned around and left as my instinct was telling me when I didn't see anyone there.

Has had multiple instances where I have called multiple times to no answer during posted hours. They do not stay open till posted hours, so it should say “possibly 10, unless we want to go home”. Usually takes extremely long for food to be prepared when I have ordered carry out. Showed up after ordering 20 minutes later and still waited for 15 more minutes. Usually takes a minute to be acknowledged after walking in also. Otherwise, the great food has earned them their 1 star. Hope you have better experiences with them, I will continue to try and order food from there, hoping I catch them during hours that they are ok with working.

My husband and I have been here a few times recently and the food has been consistently wonderful every time! We usually split the Shish Combo with a house salad, lentil soup, and cheese sambusky. The meat is seasoned well and always tasty. The service is pretty quick, even when things are quiet. The staff are polite and check up on us just enough. This is our new favorite restaurant.

First off, notice that there are at least five reviews (many of them wisely labeled as "unrecommended") for this restaurant that came out by underdeveloped accounts all within the same day. Much could be said about the recent attacks being made against many Dearborn (and Detroit) businesses, bakeries, and restaurants (even a McDonalds on Ford Rd accused of preposterous claims of "reverse racism") by xenophobic jerks who have little to do with actually visiting Dearborn and know no more about Middle Eastern cuisine than the pedestrian fare (like Shawarma) that they manipulatively fish from people on other sites....but than again, so much could be said about online prejudice and the powers motivated by it enough to attack businesses and cities that don't fit into their restrictive mold of what is considered "acceptable". All I can add further is that Yelp has gotten a stained reputation online (judging not only by some of the articles written online but also by how they chose to respond to reports I have made of obviously fraudulent reviews attempting to ruin businesses and cultures) that has become a rather warranted indictment of their poor attempts at weeding out agendas of online prejudice. With that wordy unpleasantness behind us, allow me to offer "the review". I have come to this location repeatedly since the earlier part of the previous decade. I remember when it was Cedar Gardens (with the amazing fattoush). It was an Ollie's not long ago (with one location persisting further away on Ford Rd.)-which was also amazing with fattoush, hummus, and mojaddarah (or mujadara). When Ollie's closed, we were disappointed. Beity opened, and we didn't know what to expect. It seemed to have little traffic going for it everytime we went by the location. Recently we gave it a try. Simply put, the shish kafta was splendid and well-seasoned, as was the mojaddarah, and judging by the dressing on the salad, I can imagine the fattoush will be good, as well. The water was cold and fresh, and the music was more in the traditional vein that I like. While the portions of food were amazing, they could've been just a little more liberal with things like the yogurt or the tahini. The seating was a bit odd (the table shifted a bit), but not entirely uncomfortable. I have been eating Middle Eastern food since the early 90's. Dearborn has been a large part of my life, and I will defend it from the deceitful online bigots or phony crusaders who want to shut down festivals and attempt to stifle and intimidate a culture of people who have been genuinely abiding and productive Americans for decades. I can not boast beyond that. So, coming from this humble source (hopefully providing signal to cut through the horrible noise-take it or leave it) I highly endorse Beity and think more folks need to give it a chance, check it out, and find that it has a lot to offer for folks looking for anything from carry-outs to a banquet style gathering. Again, I still would like to see how they do fattoush.

Very good food for a very reasonable price. I tried the New York cut, Batata Harra, Caesar salad, and Chicken rice soup. All of it was good and halal. Nice and quiet ambiance, no noisy kids or major parties going on. Wait staff was friendly.

We stopped here on a whim when we decided we wanted Fattoush. This was by far the best Fattoush we've ever had. The dressing was perfect, the ingredients were very fresh and there was a perfect amount of dressing on the salad. The bread was hot out of the oven and service was excellent. We will definitely be back!
