I would not recommend this to anyone. Donuts are overpriced and they have a limited selection to choose from. A definite disappointment.

The donuts were fresh, but my chocolate cake donuts (chocolate glazed) were swapped for yeast frosted with chocolate and I would have preferred not to have yeast donuts in place of a cake donut.

Great donuts. Large, but still soft. Tasty toppings.

Trash donuts. Got there at 10 am when they open (makes no sense) and they had maybe 5 types of donuts available, nowhere near the 30-40 varieties they advertise. Both donuts were cold and almost identical to the donuts you get from the gas station or kroger, but at twice the price. Don't waste your time or money. Store was clean.

Maybe the best donut I ever had, and it was just a plain glazed doughnut. Like knock you on your behind kind of delicious. And I think what set them apart from other donuts I’ve tried was that they were able to make something so delicious without it being super greasy. They were soft and fluffy, but also jampacked full of flavor.I noticed some reviewers have complained about not having full inventory - but they make a limited number of each, which reduces food waste and I’m sure helps with business costs. I applaud them for electing to run out of something before they decide to either sell old donuts or throw a bunch of food in the trash. When I went, there were a number of flavors sold out, but still a huge number of options. So maybe call ahead if you’re set on a specific donut or be adventurous, maybe be prepared to try different flavors, or plan an early arrival to catch full inventory, but definitely try them! Yum!

Placed my order through Door dash. The delivery was fast. However, I received 7 and not 6 donuts (who would complain, right?). But I didn't receive the custard donut that was part of the order and instead got two chocolate glazed and two strawberry filled ones. And to my surprise (honestly not...), three donuts we tried so far were dry inside like they've been sitting for days. There was no substance or texture to the dough and absolutely zero flavor. The strawberry filled donut was so dry, it crumbled like a cookie after being broken in half, and inside of ittasted old and stale. On the phone I was told they make them all fresh daily. I don't buy that. Freshly made donuts won't crumble like cookies when you brake them apart, and don't taste like they are a few days old. Don't recommend and won't order again.Update. Changed to 1 star review from 2 - apple fritter was still raw inside when I cracked it open. 3 things messed up in one order is a new high for me out of all the restaurants I've ever tried. And on top of that this place charges you a prime dollar for their stale/raw donuts.

I used to love coming here and always finding my favorite donut. Since the new ownership things have changed. I called and asked for the Nutella donut and always got an answer of “tomorrow, tomorrow” for a straight two weeks. I finally went in today because they said they would have it and the worker told me they stopped making them and will no longer make them. Literally one of their best donuts they discontinued! Only reason I went there. Not cool telling a customer something will be available and they come in to find out it’s discontinued.

They did not have the donuts they advertise on their website. Also, their machine was broken and was not able to take credit cards. They suggested I go to the Walgreens way across the street to get cash. I didn't return.

I ordered 12 different flavor donuts thru DoorDash and received 9. 2 were replaced by cake pops and 1 was just missing. I understand ppl make mistakes so it didn’t bother me that much. However when I bit into the cake pop the chocolate shell inside and the cake itself both had MOLD in it. I swallowed a chunk before I noticed it. I’m sick to my stomach. I don’t see many bad reviews so maybe it was an oversight and old product got sent out but it should have never happened. I spent almost 40 bucks.

Drove all the way there with my kids under the false pretenses that they had donuts. After arriving and seeing they had barely anything available I asked if I could still order donuts that are on the menu and they said no just what's sitting out. This was Saturday at 11am so that seems like a pretty standard time to have a selection of donuts made at a donut shop. The few they had were mislabeled and looked dry. Sugar in Wyandotte is far but way better selection, prices are better and the staff is much friendlier and accommodating. This was my first visit to "the donut shoppe" and I won't return or recommend.

Drove a half hour only for disappointment. 30 dollars for donuts I should be able to get what I want and what's on your menu not a limited selection! Items miss labeled so my first impression is no effort or self worth anymore stay clear
