The worst service ever at the Taylor location at 10257 S. Telegraph in Taylor. Chicken looked and tasted like it was left over from the day before and then microwaved. The cashier took my money and walked off without a explanation for about 10 minutes. Then returned with my change. They need to close the place PERIOD. It was my first and LAST visit.

I received terrible customer service at the Evergreen location. A 15 minute order took 1 hour. I was told I didn't place the order, then it was found, I was told that I didn't order what was clearly written on the slip. Then I was told that as an Old person I needed to set an example for the young people. Not asking for him to be fired just properly trained. You have lost a loyal customer

Went to this restaurant on W 7 Mile and John C Lodge Freeway to get something to eat. When I walked into the inside door I slipped and had a very hard fall. No one from behind the counter came out to see if I was okay. They didn’t even get the manager. I had to ask for the manager after being helped up off the floor by two male customers. My son had to come and get me because I couldn’t drive and the pain was horrible. Asked to do an injury report after the manager (Dewayne Wingham) came out and my son arrived. This man stated that he did not have injury reports. I will have to contact corporate office to let them know what happened. He also said that he will contact him and give him my information and I asked him was he going to really do that and he said yes. I’m still trying to find out how to reach the corporate office. The chicken is goodwill . The professionalism of the employees was unacceptable. This was a very traumatic experience and Captain Jays is not a place that is inviting or welcoming, let alone noticeably uncaring and unprofessional to their customers. May God have Mercy on their souls.

Multiple items were missing from my order. Staff was unprofessional. Waited for 15 min to get our order and when I went back to get missing items 2 of the workers were leaned on the counter on there phones while there was people lined up in the drive thru. Macaroni and cheese was pulled from a chill fridge and mashed potatoes were flavorless. Very disappointed. That was my first and last visit.

Captains jays in Taylor Michigan is the worst. I called over 10 times to place an order and no one answered, then someone finally answered and put me on hold only to hang up. I CALLED AGAIN and the girl that picked up was very unprofessional. Very sad.

I had a call in order at the Oak Park location and had to wait in the drive thru for 20 minutes after I waited 20 minutes to come get the order. This is a huge inconvenience when you're in your 30 minute lunch break. Their doors are always locked and they say its due to be short staffed. Unacceptable!!!!!

I went to Captain Jay's on McNichols and Meyers I have never in my life ate burnt chicken all my chicken was burnt all $8 worth my grandkids wouldn't eat that I had to gave it to the birds I call that place three times and all I get is a busy signal shame

I ordered two fish sandwiches and a side of Okra but they only gave me one sandwich. I went back in and informed them and the lady told me it was there was a wait on the Perch fish. I requested to get all fresh food considering my fish sandwich and okra were going to be cold. The cashier told me best she could do is keep my food in the warmer. I will never go back to Captain Jays any location but the location on Middlebelt near Michigan is the worst ever. Not to mention the headquarters is really close to this locations so you would think it would have better service.

I was late for work cuz they didn’t know how to cook the shrimp. And they had me waiting for a good 40 minutes. On top of that… the banana pudding wasn’t even cold and is legit just pudding!? Like last time I got it and there was bananas and wafers! Corporate needs to go in and actually take care of the whole situation cuz it is totally unacceptable!

I was at the location at 22711 Kelly in east point Michigan. I had a two piece fish and it was horrible it tasted like it was cooked in old grease and it was hard. That was on 7/21/2020 order # 193186. My older came to $5.29 I gave her a ten dollar bill and thirty cents in change. she gave me back four dollars and wanted to argue thatI was supposed to only get back four dollars back in change.Brenda from Detroit Michigan

Businesses are closing and people are out of jobs. I say corporate should take in consideration the reviews of their restaurants and give jobs to those who need and will appreciate them which equals good customer service.

Poor service and management let 2 people inside and when i got to door she lock it went to drive thru and services suck with 3 people behind the counter but only one working hard and 5 cars in line behind me terrible service on Greenfield and W.Chicago.Very Disappointing.
