Both the berry blast and strawberry banana smoothie were watery and had no flavor. I'm a big fan of smoothies and have had my share of them. I can place this at the very bottom of the list. I'm baffled at the better reviews. It seems many don't know what a great smoothie should taste like or had a better server preparing them.

Best açaí bowls, ever, period! I was so sad when Lyfe closed its doors, but SO excited when the Lyfe Truck was born! They post their schedule and provide updates via social media - I follow them on Instagram to know where they'll be and when. My go to is the Peanut Butter Lovers bow with gluten free granola. Such a delicious treat - but what I love most about Lyfe is that they use only the best ingredients. The owner truly cares about health & wellness and her customers - knowing she prioritizes quality ingredients (+ how dang good these açaí bowls are!) is what keeps me coming back.

I’ve been waiting on this place to open up for as long as I’ve been going to Powerhouse. This place pretty much has everything you need pre and post workout. Mohga always does a great job making sure my smoothies are perfect and she’s an awesome person to have a conversation with. Going to the gym is rewarding, but this place is makes it even better.

I went there for lunch on a weekday, the place was not busy and ordered the Vegan Black Bean Burger Wrap, it came to me on toast (incorrect). I appreciate places that have Vegan options and want to be able to trust them. When simple mistakes are made, I wonder what other mistakes are made. How careful are they when preparing plant based foods. It is doubtful I will return.

I ordered the vegan plant powered wrap and the impossible philly. The wrap: lots of great listed ingredients and sounds amazing on paper. Too bad most of them are indistinguishable with the massive sausage stuffed in the middle. The idea of a delicious peanut sauce prompted me to order extra on the side. Unfortunately it was chalky and flat on flavor. The impossible philly: boring, unseasoned oily vegetables, forgettable. The vegan cheese was good. Edible vegan fares earned the two stars. I'd only order again if I'm desperate.

What a hidden gem! I got exposed to the Açaí bowls when Lyfe Cafe was a pop up vendor at Timonium Fairgrounds. I loved the bowl and decided to pop in to the location in Kenilworth. The owner was able to give me recommendations for an entree and I also got an acai bowl to go. Everything was delicious! Fresh ingredients, tasty and healthy. Will be returning again soon!
