If you like an absolutely packed bar. This place is for you. If you also like a dead empty bar, this is also for you. Me and our buddies play pool here and grab drinks on the weekends and enjoy a less crowded bar. However, during events or games, it can often be a bit packed. The bartenders are great, and the owner is very xhill.

The New Place Lounge is well known in the city of Dearborn, it has been there for over 40 years, and is still owned by the same family, they’re know for live music and a great atmosphere. Every time I am there I enjoy my evening listening to the music and catching up with old friends.
Neighborhood spot,I have yet to feel the love as an "outsider", but I can see it'd be an easy place to frequent.I like the live music (altho it's very loud).

One of the last survivors that hasn't changed. Excellent watering hole with a few improvements, great local spot to catch a game. Being a rare gem that it is you can expect all types. Never once witnessed anything like fights.

It's definitely a dive bar that's a little sketchy and for sure a little dirty but I wasn't there to eat. The bartender was friendly and welcoming and the drinks were cheap. They have a TouchTunes jukebox in there and the few regulars that were there were playing some great music. It looks like a place where they don't get a lot of new folks but everyone was nice to us. I got to play keno, watch sports highlights on the big screen, and drink Crown Royal on the cheap. Can't ask for much more than that!
