Waitress was pleasant. Cashier was pleasant. Food over priced and not tasty....specifically the "Monte Cristo". The sandwich was just two pieces of French Toast, a piece of ham, and Swiss cheese slapped together. No deep fry batter or turkey! Terrible!

Rex's Golden Grill really surprised me and my family with their extensive menu options. I had driven by this restaurant for a few years always thinking to myself, next time. When the time presented itself, we found Rex's an excellent choice for dining. I had a huge, delicious, full stack of buttermilk pancakes that were close to how my mother used to make them. The prices were very reasonable and the serving staff attentive. I was so impressed with the quality of the food. I think you will be too if you give Rex's a shot.

The breakfast is good, professional, honest, and well-groomed waitress. I've sent hashbrowns back because they were not cooked well, biscuits with gravy that tasted like flour and water, the waitress was very kind and replaced my food. The ambiance is clean, lighting is bright and inviting. I will eat here again. Even though I had some food issues it's a great place to dine.

When my family and I arrived the most polite hostess greeted us and took us to our table. She then complimented our daughter's outfit. The waitress introduced herself while getting our drink order, then patiently told us take our time to read the menu. With this being our first time at Rex's, I asked the waitress for her recommendations. We ordered and the food came out quick and DELICIOUS. Drinks were refilled as the last sip was taken. So the service was great and the food was amazing. The only thing I could say is that they could use some extra help as far as waitresses. There are only a couple there every time we go. And they do seem a bit shorthanded. And I would have to say about out of six of the waitresses two of them are friendly, professional, and polite.Kid-friendliness: Very polite to our daughter, made sure she had everything she needed to keep her occupied while waiting for our food as well as making sure she had everything that she could possibly need. That's something I definitely look for in customer service these days because it's very hard to find.
