Been going here for years, they never disappoint. Sam really knows how to run a restaurant with real old school Dearborn style service. We ordered the Sahara combo tonight, and it was the best it’s ever been. Highly recommend this spot.
I was in town on Spring Break with my family and we wanted something we normally don't get back at home in Nashville.These folks at the Sahara Restaurant were very welcoming, kind, and respectful. Oh, and they make pretty good food, too!Kafta/Kofte has been my favorite from the Middle Eastern/Mediterranean cuisines and it was a shame that my beat kafta/kofte place back home went out of business ten years ago.When I saw it on the menu here, I had to order it. This was the best kafta I ever had!

Had a good dining experience at Sahara. The food was great and the portions are large, plus you get fresh baked bread with your meal. My critique is the dining area; it feels like an after thought and doesn’t inspire you to dine in. Overall a good place for a quick meal.

Ate here 3 days out of 4 on my visit and not cause it was close or convenient. Walked in 1st day was greeted cheerfully by owner "Sam" Had such a wonderfully delicious meal came back next day was treated like a regular. 3rd time I came back for lunch treated like family and had so much food took left overs back to hotel for dinner. If you are Anywhere near Dearborn do yourself a favor and visit Sahara !Vegetarian options: Lentil soupParking: Up front and side of building
