Went to the Madison Heights location. So so good! Ashta Custard is the best! Awesome service! Will be back often!

Only good when the manager is there, went there for the first time while she was there she did an awesome job on the Brookie speciality and informative on it . But been there twice now after that with different people working there and it's been lousy the most recent being a huge disappointment. Got the brookie specialty again and it was made way differently than the way the Manger said and made. The cookie was different, only a little hot fudge on the bottom and then some Carmel swirled on top and instead of the oreo topping the manager used they used golden cookie crumble. When I questioned why it was different than the managers they said the manager probably did her own and that this was how they were trained. And the cookie used wasn't M&M Like the manager explained it was some kind of chocolate chunk or chip cookie. Complete disappointment when we were looking forward to it. Will definitely not be getting anything there anymore unless the manager is there if we even go back again.

The custard is great and lots of options. Punch cards are 1/10 stamps per transaction (regardless # of items) and redeemable for only plain custard, which is not ideal because the business is largely built around insanely decadent cones, sandwiches, and flurries. Owner responded that there will be a new system for summer 2024 and looking forward to that.

A lot of good variety of ice cream flavors! Service was good and quick too! First time there and won't be the last.

Nice and fast servers. I ordered the ashta cone but the ashta custard didn’t taste much like ashta, you can definitely taste the rose water though. The atter injected in the middle was pretty good. Lots of crushed pistachio around it, keep that in mind if you like or not pistachio. The oreo parfait was good, the oreo was very thin crushed and it was very pleasant to eat mixed with the custard.

Make an ice cream sandwich with 3 outer options or down right one of the injected ice cream cones and don't just limit your self to the menu !!!!!Parking: Parking behind building , be careful it's only hig enough for one car to enter or exitKid-friendliness: Has decorated patioWheelchair accessibility: One level no stairs

Before my trip to Michigan, I'd gotten many recommendations to try this place out. I'm never one to turn down dessert, especially ice cream. The location is in a small freestanding building; customers order inside and have the option to sit at tables outside. The menu offers a ton of options from loaded ice cream creations, standard hard scoop, smoothies, mangonadas, and more. I went for the Loaded Ashta Cup: Ashta Custard injected with Rosewater, pistachio filling, rolled in pistachios. My first choice of dessert is always ice cream, so it can be hard to impress me. The Loaded Ashta Cone was exceptional; I could distinctly taste each flavor/ingredient. The rich filling combined perfectly with the soft ice cream textures. The rosewater wasn't overpowering, like it can be in many desserts. I made two separate visits to this place during my short trip. I could've branched out to try one of the many other delicious options, but I had to get the Loaded Ashta a second time. Overall, this place is a gem. I'm very glad I took the recommendation to try this spot; anyone who doesn't is truly missing out.

Tasty frozen custard and friendly service. Not sure what else to say. We were there on a cold Sunday night--no line.

If you have the option of going to a local spot with great seating, happy workers, and an owner who is always there to greet you with you a smile, this is the place to be.From the very start, there is ample parking, both in the rear of the business and on the road so don't worry about anything! One of my favorite things, but also most hated things, is they have the menu posted right outside so you can start making your choices early! Reason why I hate this is because whenever I enter the facility, and see the menu again, I'm met with an overwhelming uncertainty of wanting to try everything on the menu...Overall, ambiance is nice and pink. There are signs all around the facility that are typical of an ice cream shop.10/10, addictive so try to hold off going there more than twice a week!
