I love dining at The Great Commoner. I'm always thinking about my next visit and what to try next. Ahmad the waiter from our most recent visit made the experience even more special. If there was an Olympics for waiters he would be the Usain Bolt. He went above and beyond to make sure my company and myself were comfortable and set with our orders. He has that old school sincere hospitality with a modern and fun teist.

Ahmad was a great server! Great atmosphere and food! Had issues with my steak and Ahmad quickly rangled a new plump cow in from the back and butchered it to my liking!!! Will be coming here

Great Commoner is a quaint and eloquent treasure in Dearborn. We were basking in the ambiance of Paris or Venice from the fine cuisines that are masterpieces and the dessert delicacies that were absolutely exquisite. The experience was only trumped by the prompt and professional service we received from Rico. My dear friend and I always make beautiful memories at brunch, but dinner time is the RIGHT time at the Great Commoner!

Ahmed, was an amazing server and the food was great! I had the common potatoes, the egg and cheese crossiant, and the smoked salmon and it was all fresh and quality!
AtmosphereThe seating area was dirty even though it was no where near emptyServiceThe service was subpar and the server even forget to put in on of our orders at which point we just said it was ok and shared what we had.Dinner MenuThe menu is convoluted and overly complicated and really doesn’t have many clear dinner entrees, the ones they do have come out cold and the griddled chicken panini was pure salt. The 6 dollar strawberry rose lemonade had little to no rose flavor and some concentrated probably frozen strawberry mash and no strawberries in it and wasn’t good.Bottom lineI love the brunch and breakfast here but beware of this After 5 pm this place takes a 5 star Bistro and transforms it into a 2 star shame.2/5 would not recommend for dinner.

This is our second time at the GC. It has NOT disappointed. Rico helped us today and the service was excellent. The steak was “chefs kiss” Highly recommend for brunch and dinner.

Came for Sunday Brunch! There was a 15 minute wait, if that. We were able to be seated quickly and got our order in. Ali was a great server and we inhaled our food. The breakfast burrito was very tasty and so was the B.B egg and cheese, the potatoes on the side are so good with a little kick. I would recommend both.I also got the lavender Lemonade and it’s very great! I enjoyed the refreshing taste of this lavender lemonade.
