When are they going to bring back a full menu? The choices are so limited an everything is expensive. The margarita pizza not as good as it used to be. Long wait for a drink.

I’ve been many times & every single time has been amazing. The food is absolutely delicious & April the bartender is incredible. She checks to make sure your food is exactly how you wanted & doesn’t let your cup run dry! Her personality is top notch for a bartender & she makes you feel very welcomed. Highly recommend this place!

Loooooved the Jolly Pumpkin! April was the best bar tender! Fast, friendly! The service was great! Drink were delicious and the food was great! We will be back!

Service was slow and seemed like it took forever for our food to come out. But the server did warn us they just got sat with a large party. The Mahi Tacos were so good, but the real star of the show are the curried chips! They come as a side with the sandwiches and I highly recommend them! Once we got the food, everyone was happy with it. Would go back. Downtown Dearborn is such a nice spot and Jolly Pumpkin didn't have a wait for weekend brunch when all the other spots did. www.thebitetonight.com

We started out at Ford Garage, but the wait was over an hour, so we decided to come to the Jolly Pumpkin. As we walked in, I asked my husband "I wonder why people don't come here? It is a cool restaurant and they have decent food". I got my answer. The menu is greatly reduced in variety from the last time we were in, it is expensive for what you are getting (the Caesar salad was tiny for an entrée salad and almost $20 with protein) and the service was lacking (at best). Not one need was anticipated, it was slow and the waitress really didn't care if we enjoyed our experience or not. It was very disappointing - I will wait for the other place next time instead.

Good food , good beer, but the atmosphere is ridiculous. The cooks have music playing and it's an open kitchen so it's blaring out and competing with the music on main speakers. Just a mess of noise in this place.

Went here with a party of 6 for my birthday. Requested to sit in the bench seating area because it would be easier for my daughter. The hostess said I already have a table for you. I asked again if I could have the bench seat instead. The hostess said they could put me on a 10 minute waitlist while the table I requested was cleaned. There were like three other tables of guests in the entire place. There was no one else in line. I said fine, we will take the table you want us to have. Drinks were alright. Took a long time to receive. A lot of staff standing around. I have been going to Jolly Pumpkin establishments for at least the last decade. Never experienced this. Will never go back to this location.

Very disappointing. Service was atrocious. Waited an hour for a beer - even after asking multiple people. Waitress disappeared for long stretches. Out of several items on their already very limited menu (at 5p on a Saturday!). Tried to find excuses but it was not busy - just poor service and inventory management. Won't go back

the bartender was great but when we had people join us and got one of the floor servers, she was slower than a snail. beers are good IF you like sours or IPAs as that is all they had.

Loved the mahi tacos... blackened mahi, slaw, queso Franco, salsa toped with mashed avocado. Oh the sensational flavors. These tacos are fantastic. Also loved the Cobb Salad loaded with pickled red onion, hard boiled egg, avocado, Kalamata olives, tomatoes, bacon, blue cheese & garlic croutons. Their beer is great but they also have some great cocktails as well. We sampled the Spritezie Ritchie & the Crows Nest. Make reservations online or join their waitlist during peak periods. They were out of a few of their libations when we were there which was a little disappointing. Menu is also a bit limited.

All I have to say is WOW oh WOW.The beer is refreshing and unique, mixed drinks are fresh and full of flavor and the food 100% slaps. April is the coolest bartender ever! She’s so cool that I wish I could work with her!!!!!!!! Xandy is a wonderful manager too. After my food was delivered, he promptly came by to check to see how it was. We love attention to detail. Mel and Corey are not only kind but they are industrious, beautiful people who always make sure my stay is comfortable. (Some of my favorite people to laugh with.) Although I only visit around 1x w week, Corey and Mel always catch me up on their life and vice versa. I love this place so much, soon, they’ll have to get ME a job!!!!!Vegetarian options: No meat optionsKid-friendliness: Love kidsParking: Rad parkingDietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten-free options

As a Muslim practicing an Islamic diet, I was happy to hear that their chicken was Halal. My friend and I ordered the chicken sandwich and Margarita pizza. I ate the food and it was good. The next time I went there, they told me they make their pizza dough with beer… who even does that?? This was not something I was told the last time I ate there (so basically I had beer pizza, as a Muslim). Overall, their lack of communication led to this poor review. But again, who puts beer in pizza? We’re in Dearborn after all… It’s pretty misleading to sell Halal chicken if you’re going to sell beer pizza; people generally look at vegetarian pizza as Halal.

Wow, this is a deceptively large restaurant! It's bigger inside than it looks and is almost Polynesian themed. Not what I was expecting. We had a last minute party of 7 and they were able to easily accommodate us on a Sunday afternoon without a wait. They have a large beer tap selection with many different varieties, but no cider, whites, and maybe only 1 porter/stout. Overall, we all found something we liked. The food menu had a lot of different options, from pizza to sandwiches. I ordered mahi tacos. It came with chips and three tacos. The meal itself wasn't cheap but there was a lot of food. The tacos were mixed, one was very good and the other was lacking on some ingredients, so a little inconsistent. We had one waitress taking care of our party, and she was very nice but forgot a few things and had to ask again what we ordered. Additionally, between the four of us whose orders were taken last, one of ours came out first whereas another meal came out 25 minutes later. We didn't mind as we had our drinks, but it was odd for food to come out to a table with such a variance in time.

I gave this a 4 star rating because it has the potential to be 4 stars. We went on Friday night, wanted to try a new spot in downtown Dearborn. We came in around 8pm and were sat right away. The menu is small, but interesting. We decided to order the flash fried cauliflower for our appetizer, and our mains were the JP burger w/truffle fries and the warm artichoke sandwich w/truffle fries. I ordered a blood moon margarita, it was ok, didn't seem like a margarita at all. My favorite item was the fish fried cauliflower, it had 2 tasty sauces. We only had our app for 2 minutes before our mains came, yet we had a long wait before the app arrived. It didn't seem that busy, but there were a few large tables that were alreafy waiting on their food. I was surprised that it was taking so long with this limited menu. When they brought our food, they had mistakenly brought me the chicken sandwich (not sure if that's what was submitted or they just made the wrong item). Anyway, I really wanted to try the artichoke sandwich. Our server, Sapphire, said she would put the order for my sandwich in, and left the chicken sandwich for us to try while I waited. The burger was good, but it was overcooked (more MW than MED). The chicken was really dark, and hard to bite through, overcooked also. I think it would have been great, if cooked properly. The slaw tasted nice, the truffle fries were delicious and plentiful. My sandwich finally arrived, it tasted nice, the bread was grilled with maybe too much butter so it was greasy. At this time I wasn't very hungry, as I had been munching on fries and cauliflower. The warm artichoke sandwich had artichokes, roasted red peppers, pepperoncini, feta and a hummus like spread. I assume the manager, a woman with dark hair, came over to apologize for the mix-up with the order and comped the artichoke sandwich. Plus wbe got the chicken sandwich for free as well. That went a long way with me, because I see the potential in the menu and I appreciated how the mix-up was handled. I will be back, and I'll be sure to order the cauliflower app and get truffle fries.
