“My family has been coming here for years. The food is excellent and the ownership and staff are always willing to talk and smile with you. Recommend the Very Berry French Toast and the myriad of other options. All made fresh and served with a smile.“
“This has been on my radar for a while, close to home, I finally stopped in. I came in to grab a coffee, it was very busy in there. There's a lot of varied seating options and areas to relax, so work, hang out, etc... Cute decor, maybe too many ideas all at once. It could use some edits, as it's a bit over-decorated. The staff I encountered were friendly. The menu had some interesting options to choose from. I decided to go with the tiramisu latte. It was very good, I think I would add an extra shot if I were to get it again. I noticed that they had pastry cases, nit sure if they offered other food.“
“Very clean and fun establishment! I enjoyed my “Twisted Tornado” along with a Hawaiian burger and Onion Rings. Not giving a full 5 stars as a few preventable issues occurred; we got one napkin but there were two of us eating, the Onion Rings didn’t have what was advertised on them (I didn’t correct this as I noticed after), and we had to put through 2 orders as an item was missing the first time around. Would definitely come again and recommend regardless!“

“The waffle cafe is amazing! Great food and music! It’s a whole vibe. We were able to eat in the lounge area! I really loved the watermelon lemonade and the lavender as well. I ate the trio waffles and did a sweet and savory combo. I enjoyed the buffalo waffle, the banana pudding and strawberry cheesecake waffles. Ohhh weee! Proud of the owners! Larry awesome job man! I also love that this place is actually in Detroit! And Black Owned! Support!“
“Outstanding chicken sandwich and excellent customer service. I forgot my lunch, saw Heavenly Chicken and Waffles near my office, and decided to give them a try. So glad I did. The guys were super friendly, helpful, and even walked the food to my car when it was ready. The chicken sandwich was fantastic--made to order; juicy and crunchy; well-seasoned; and on a brioche bun with fresh accompaniments (pickles, mayo, Bermuda onion, baby spinach). Another nice surprise-- it also came with a bottle of water and fries. Fried were great--hot, crisp, with just enough seasoning. Great presentation in the to-go box and traveled well the five minutes back to the office. Will definitely be looking for Heavenly Chicken and Waffles again to try their spicy chicken sandwich next!“
“This place is absolutely amazing, food is delicious and service is great. We didn't realize how much food you actually get, so of course we had to take some with us. I definitely recommend this place to EVERYONE that is traveling through or lives here. Would definitely stop back in if I'm ever out this way again. 10 out of 10 for “
