I have been coming to Anita’s Kitchen for several years now and always leave satisfied. Portions are very generous and the food is very flavorful! The patio is excellent but the inside is a bit small.

Twice I have eaten here and got food poisoning. The first time I ate their salad, I had a very bad stomach ache that was indescribable pain.I dismissed it, I did not want to believe it was the salad.A few weeks later, I get a salad from there, and it happens again! The food is good, but was contaminated; at least twice.

Pretty mad at this establishment. I have been going to Anitas for a long time and what they are doing now is a blatant money grab. How does a product (The Loaded Fries) go up 50% over night. Is there a potato shortage? I used to come here everyday and my response to the price change has been a little delayed because of my disbelief. I would come in everyday for lunch and get one order of the loaded french fries and be greeted by name, and because of my loyalty and me spreading the word of this amazing dish I am stabbed in the back. I will boycott this place until my french fries go back to the original price. --- Sage Carlson

Just not sure why the chicken is grey on some photos and my order but not in all the reviews.I guess you’d have to dine in to get fresh chicken. Also - this delivery was on its way less than 15mins from ordering. I’m not feeling confident that any of this food was cooked fresh.

Food is quite good, not my favorite Mediterranean restaurant but definitely hits the spot. Depending on how busy it is and if you are dining in or not can be a bit crazy but compared with nearby similar restaurants I would say this is one of the best options. Thank

I come here often since my work is right next door. This is like the 4th time my coworkers and I got wings that aren't done! The wings are HORRIBLE. just stop selling them if you can't take a few extra minutes to cook them ALL THE WAY

Food is good and flavorful. The fried cauliflower is one of my faves. I work downtown and mostly order carryout. Food is ready sooner than usual most times. I once had to head back downtown after an errand and made it through the door just before closing to grab a late lunch. Unfortunately someone yelled, "we're closed" from the back before I made it to the order counter. I didn't feel great about that, so I left. I'll give ordering from there a rest before I consider going back.

I love Anita's Kitchen! This location in downtown Detroit is probably the one I frequented the most given its ease of ordering and proximity to the place where I used to work. The food here is so so good, but my main complaint is how poorly the food travels. Most of the time, I am carrying out from here, and their food is hot and within a matter of minutes the condensation from the food sort of crumples the container it's in as well so everything just gets soggy and doesn't travel well.Other than that, the service here is great, online ordering is your best friend, they will typically always finish an order earlier than the time you set it to for pick up as well, so take that into consideration as you're placing your order. They have a very modern, fast casual set up of tables and chairs set up inside the restaurant for you to sit and eat at, just making note that it'll probably be pretty jam-packed on weekdays during the lunch rush given its location!

Great restaurant that offers delicious Mediterranean food. It has fast food restaurant like seating and service. We ordered a chicken shawarma bowl and a Falafel bowl, both were quite filling. They also come with a side of hummus, salad and garlic sauce which is AMAZING. It's a must try! The chicken was well marinated and soft and the falafels were crispy and tasty. We visited this place back in Feb and made sure to come back during our visit to Detroit in July. And we'll definitely visit it again!
