Cute Greek French fusion bakery, nice location in the middle of Greektown. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and the pastries all looked amazing. Great coffee! Got a tiramisu which tasted excellent and was a generous portion. Rolled baklava was crisp and with a delicate sweetness! Will be back, lots more to try!

There is a lot of options so I can only speak to what we ordered but the turtle pretzel was super yummy. Cookie was just okay and the cake was dry. I would try something else if it was recommended but won’t go back just on my own.

If you are looking for a bakery in downtown Detroit the Astoria is a gem. The products are good and they offer a little bit of everything (e.g., cookies, pastries, cakes, etc.) I don't remember seeing pies but they have them too. And to top it off the coffee was $1. Wow, when was the last time you paid $1 for a coffee.

Astoria has the most amazing bakery items...I tried the heart cookie (sugar cookie with chocolate for frosting), a black and white cookie, macarons, Michigan cherry cookie, peanut clusters, and chocolate baklava. While none of these disappoint, the chocolate baklava is by far, my very favorite. They sell it in squares about 2" by 2" and they are about 2" high. They have a wonderful crunch yet are soft in the middle from the honey. The counter personnel work hard but there are so many visitors at this location that they aren't especially personable. The bakery is in a small space but has a few seats in the back because most people take their purchases to go. We came in midday so it was fairly quiet but by the time we left, a line had developed. If it's crowded when you go, be sure to grab a number.
I came in off the yelp search and I tried the turtle brownie and the cinnamon rolls they were amazing and fresh . The place is clean, nice and they have so many options if you have not tried them you should .
