I'm sorry, I just don’t get the hype. I LOVE a bar burger. The first time around, it was incredibly dry, nothing really holding it together besides the toothpick. I'll give anything a second try - the second time was extremely, extremely salty. Maybe on their best day, it's great? For me, the inconsistency makes it not worth a third try.

Wonderful ambiance. We loved the giant hearthstone fireplace and the server was very knowledgeable.

The food is always amazing. Pricing is more than fair for the huge portions. Great bar ambiance with a great jukebox.

This is my favorite dive bar of all time. The only negative is that it's a VERY small place, but that adds to the character. Knowledgeable and friendly bar service, great selection of music, incredible prices. You gotta be there on a Saturday night.

Great 'dive' bar with real good food and an exceptional jukebox.

Food was ok, the bologna was sliced every which way. Nothing about it was uniform, the chibata bun was hard. The hamburger was large but had the same kind of hacked up tomato. No TV but there is a pool table. Reasonable prices for drinks.

Great food, College vibe, the best bartenders in Detroit! Make sure to play some music on the Jukebox.

The coolest little bar with unexpectedly incredible food and environment. Regular beers, one pool table. A whole vibe with both atmosphere and food. Huge portions.

Drinks are strong, sandwiches are elite, and the music choices are great! Love the jukebox, occasional live music performances, and pool table. I have dreams about the fried chicken sandwich ?

We heard good things about the burgers here. The website advised that they would open at noon (Sat., Dec. 23). We arrived at 12:10. The front door was open and we came in and sat down. We saw two employees, one looked to be working the kitchen. The other came and stood behind the bar, looking at his phone. No greeting, no "We'll be right with you", no "Sorry, we're closed, the front door should not have been open", nothing. We sat for five minutes and the man behind the bar barely looked up from his phone. We finally got up and walked out with no response from the staff. This is as close as I've ever come to a restaurant telling me to just get out. Interesting business model. We'll be sure to never come back.

My brother and I drove all the way from downriver to find the staff very rude and off putting. The chef had all the food out in the open right next to customers.. & he had nothing to say except rude comments, I will not be returning!
