The overall service wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either. Apparently you have to order food at the bar even if you don’t want to sit at the bar. My wife had potato fries and we got them and we thought it was feta cheese on top of them and found out it was powdered sugar. Like seriously who does that. Disgusting! Bartender also didn’t have ingredients to make basic cocktails. Asked for a cocktail menu and the bartender laughed and said he didn’t have one. Why’s that funny to work at a bar and not have basic items? That’s how you elevate your game. This place clearly has no interest in doing that or at least that’s the impression I got.

It was late Friday night after the Ledisi concert no other restaurant was open at the time we seen this place on Google and gave them a try it was food burgers and fries we got it to go it was still very good we ordered a couple of drinks while we waited, the waitress was good and the food didn't take long. I would recommend this

Yall ima be real the food is terrible but the vibes here are not ! Hole in the wall neighborhood spot, second floor is an arcade. Cheap(ish) drinks. But the food is all soooo bad like terrible. Me & my friends have a rule that no matter how many drinks we have we are NOT ordering food. Also their old menu had a few good options, but the new one got rid of the Buffalo Cauliflower & the new items feel like an afterthought. Regardless a neighborhood spot w/ a lot of heart.

I have been a regular patron of the downstairs bar at this restaurant for quite some time and have always enjoyed excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. However, my recent visit to the upstairs bar on March 16th was unfortunately disappointing. Despite being clearly noticed by the bartender, my companions and I were ignored for nearly 20 minutes, with no acknowledgment or service provided. This lack of attention and rudeness significantly detracted from our overall experience, putting a damper on what is typically a pleasant outing. It's unfortunate that this incident marred an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Checker Bar was an amazing surprise today. This place is really cute, clean, and fun. The checker burger was hot and tasty with a great roll and fresh toppings. The fries come hot and crisp and (thank you) not over salted. The onion rings are the best I have ever had and the pizza....yummy! The service was warm, friendly and efficient. The general manager chatted with us several times to make sure we had what we needed and she was very attentive and friendly. She mentioned more than once that she appreciated our business and she meant it. Great experience overall. We will be back.....soon!
