We went to this establishment and were a little concerned when we entered. This doesn’t look like some of the restaurants from downtown. The menu is small but the staff is terrific and friendly and the food was very reasonably priced and delicious!! We will definitely be back to this place! If the atmosphere improves a 5 star rating would be there. But 5 star on the food

It was a busy day in Detroit, and Colors got us right in before the football game. The food was delicious! The sweet potato wontons were amazing. They took a few extra minutes for our fries, but it was worth the wait. They had to hand cut some more to fry up! The menu was limited that night due to the game, so some options I wanted to try were not available. Was not disappointed with what we had...honestly, would have ate 2 plates of the wontons!!!

I made dinner reservations at Colors for 7pm on a Saturday. When our group of 6 arrived, the place was nearly empty. For being nearly the only ones there, I don't understand why the service was so bad. Colors is a non-profit, so perhaps they purposely hire inexperienced staff. They were out of a few items on the menu. We tried 3 appetizers that they were not out of, and all 3 were really good. All of us had the fried chicken with mac/cheese which was excellent. Prices on the food and drinks are cheaper than other places in the area. For a place called Colors, they could use some color on the walls. The place looked dull. Since the food is really good, it might deserve a second chance. They feed to add some decor and colors to the walls, as well as some service training.

After being so graciously greeted by our Hostess Ms. Kathryn, we were able to partake if some of the most awesome vegetarian Lasagna, Redskin Potatoes, a wonderful salad and freshly prepared wings (compliments of the Chef) All in all, a very delightful experience!!! Indeed!

One of my favorite places for quality american food. Certainly worth a return visit. Prices are fair.

Unique place. My Michigan salad was missing the pecans and could have had a few more apple slices. My friend had steak And was very happy. The gals liked their cocktails too. I would go back

Came for a mother's day brunch. Plentiful and good food. Not sure if it's playing normally but good music as well.
