I ordered today at 1:20pm over the phone for JUST a 6 piece wing ding and they rung me up for a whole 6 piece dinner which I didn't want due to the fries being old and stale every time I order from here. I come here often since our office is directly across from the Renaissance center. I always order fries from burger king & wings from you guys but I'd rather go to the Woodward coney island up the street if im going to get old fries, & stale wings with breading. This was not worth 11.50$. Also hire a cook who doesn't need to "rush & leave due to picking up kids" at least hire a cook that cares about the food he's serving

The drain in the bathroom sink needed a drain cleaner, dirt was left because of a slow drainage. The suppose to be white comforter needed Clorox. This is my favorite hotel to stay in downtown because it’s right on the water, please don’t let it go down hill!! However the customer service at the front desk is great!!!!!

Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had! If I could give zero stars I would. From the moment we checked in it was nothing but a NIGHTMARE!!! I was supposed to have adjoining rooms with my daughter which the guy that was checking us in even confirmed that we wanted adjoining rooms and somehow she ended up on the 37th floor and I on the 49th. But I thought hey not a terribly huge inconvenience but the fact that every single time I left my room the key card wouldn’t work to get back in and I would have to go all the way back downstairs to get a new one was an inconvenience! And the last night I tried getting in my room once again the card didn’t work had to go back down to the lobby to get a new one, came back up to my room and that new one didn’t work either so I had to go back down to the lobby for the 87th time since I got there and they told me they’d send maintenance up which took over 30 minutes. So it took me 56 minutes to get into my room! We stayed 3 days and housekeeping did not come to my room or my daughters the entire stay, so everything was dirty we had no clean towels and when we called and asked for housekeeping to bring us towels they never came. then to top it off I found mice dropping in the bathroom!!! There was a little hatch under the sink that was open and you could see the pipes and stuff, so I slept with a rodent that night! And for almost $300 a night per room and to get that kind of service or lack there of was completely unacceptable to me! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

I am doing a shout out to the servers who were at all times, efficient, pleasant and friendly despite being understaffed. They came back at prooer intervals asking whether we needed anything and maintained smiles . Specifically, Tony the bartender and servers, Patrina, Latrice, Sabrina and many others. They are the reason I spend many hours over 9 days at Fuel.

My visit started off poorly with checkin. I had booked a king but was told none were available so I was provided a room with two doubles. With this large of a hotel and status with Bonvoy, I was surprised and inquired again. No I was told…every king had already been claimed. Wow, I checked in anyway. Two different colleagues arrived 2 hours later with no pre-checkin and not even members with Bonvoy and they were assigned King rooms. I opened my door to my room and immediately noticed the desk chair was broken (the back was in permanent recline mode) and was so warm out and dirty. I knew I had to work while here, so I contacted the front desk. The chair couldn’t be replaced with a workable one. Fast forward to day 4 of my stay, and no cleaning crew has ever visited or refreshed my tp and soaps. Overall one of my poorest stays ever.

This property bills itself as a full-service hotel, but there are few services available, even for Elite Bonvoy members. No concierge lounge, no room service, no housekeeping, very limited food choices, and inattentive personnel. I used to enjoy staying at this property while in Detroit for business, but it is hard to justify the expense of a full-service property when I would do just as well at a Courtyard or Fairfield Inn.

I received a very friendly and genuine welcome when checking in - great start to my stay. I was on the 50th floor and had a great view of the river...and Canada! They are issuing a new room key design that is a bracelet, which is my first time seeing that. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Quick retrieval for my car from Valet using text messages. $40 overnight parking. I am happy with my stay and would return if life takes me back to downtown Detroit.

From arrival to departure, our stay at Detroit Marriott was exceptional! The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. Carrie, Kaprice and Jerry from Night Audit made our check-in experience seamless. Patrina, Terra and Najee from the restaurant ensured our palates were enhanced each morning by offering a variety of options in lieu of staying multiple days. Chef Kay, Kimberly, Donita, Joslyn, Phil, Delaino, Dmara and Andrea from the Pantry made certain we had a lite snack prior to retiring each night. I would be remised not to mention Donnell from Housekeeping. Thanks for being an integral part of the team by maintaining cleanliness throughout the Hotel. I would definitely recommend this location to all my family and friends. They truly make you feel special and appreciated!

From the moment that I arrived, my stay was pleasant and no issues. Everything was clean and neat. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. I even had a technical challenge and thought I wouldn't be able to check in right away. Not only did I get checked in, but I was able to check on early. Jeremy is a Superstar! He really helped me out. I would hire him on the spot! As an ex- front desk manager, his professionalism was epic! Thanks Jeremy!

Ugh. From the time we arrived it was bad news. Valet parking and self park were full. The noise level from the street was bad. It was worse on the city view versus the Lakeview. The windows were vibrating. Noise didn't stop until around midnight. The ice machine was missing on the floor. I don't know why they listed concierge room types when the concierge lounge is closed indefinitely. That's one of the reasons I picked the hotel. And they should clearly put that in the description if it's not available. Probably due to staff. The story one person told was it was being renovated. Another person just gave an eye roll when asked. And the sheets of the room were not clean. It's a very large convention size hotel so don't book it if you don't like an overwhelming large hotel. No room service either. Look close to the baseball and football stadium. On the bright side. The front desk staff were great.

I booked because of a conference but it’s one to consider when visiting as it so self-contained (tons of food options in the conference center and an amazing GM tour-don’t miss the shop!) and it sits beautifully on the waterfront. I dined twice at Fuel, the Hotel restaurant and I’d like to give a shout out to Terra and Sabrina for their terrific service, sense of humor and warm hospitality. It was a lovely stay!!

We were heading to the Highland and stopped to talk to a security person. Said we were looking to have a nightcap and wanted something lively. The Fuell at Marriott was recommended. Decided to give it a try. Pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere which is so bright and light with the large windows. View of the river and Canada was in sight.. The prices were fair and the most impressive part of our experience was TONY the bar tender. He is so accommodating, witty, engaging and kept us laughing. He truly is a big asset to this establishment. We can’t wait to go back. The Fuell is a hidden gem and TONY is a treasure.

1. Check-in was tedious and took a long time. No one at counter, confusion about prepayment added to delay. 2. Room was small, lacked basic amenities like soap. 3. Bed was uncomfortable, sheets did not fit bed. 4. Room was noisy, with mechanical noises from hotel HVAC and plumbing. 5. Room was not made up, despite our request, no soap ever appeared. 6. TV didn't work well, had to be unplugged to turn it off. 7. Water leaked onto floor of bathroom.
