I'm so happy to have found this place in my neighborhood! I recently moved to EEV and was looking for a good local (not a big chain) pizza place, and gave Flamz a try. I love it. The pizzas are made in a brick oven, so they're ready in a few minutes. The thin, crispy crust is perfect, and the toppings are fresh and there are many to choose from. The inside is nice, with lots of seating if you choose to dine in. Parking is on the street in front, easy in/out. Prices are reasonable, one specialty pizza is about $12. Go check em out when you're on the east side :)

Flamz is decent; their pizza is quite basic. Despite requesting a garlic butter finisher, I couldn't discern any hint of it, though I appreciate the crispy cornmeal texture of the crust. There seemed to be a missing element, perhaps just a personal preference. I'd recommend trying it yourself to form your own opinion.

Flamz exceeded our expectations. We were so excited to stop in for the first time and ordered The Detroiter. Very clean establishment and staff was friendly and respectful. We stopped by on a Friday night and there was no crowd, no wait. Pizza toppings were so fresh and delicious and our pizzas were cooked to perfection. The crust was thin and crispy. Tomato sauce was rich and flavorful. We will definitely continue coming back to order the best wood fired pizza in town. Flamz is definitely a value to the Morningside community!
