We ordered a two tier vegan cake for my daughter’s birthday. It was absolutely delicious!! My daughter is allergic to eggs and enjoyed it… so did everyone else (non-vegans). That was my goal and For the Love of Sugar delivered. I do wish there wasn’t an extra charge for vegan cakes, but we will be back either way because it was a great ordering experience as well.

First of all can we just talk about the aesthetics of this place!!! I stumbled across this gem on IG and had to indulge, and I’m so glad that I did! I LOVE carrot cake and theirs was superb, they offer you to bring it to room temperature which was definitely a plus, like who else does this? I paired it with their house coffee and sat back to take in the ambiance! Definitely a place to go if you want to meet a friend, or read a book, I’ll definitely be back and highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Vegan cake of the dayKid-friendliness: Kids would go crazy here!Wheelchair accessibility: Door entry ground level

Maybe it's my patience level with Gen Zs but being told that I need to identify the cake by its name is off-putting. Other than the extremely loud girls in the bakery, its a nice place for a Sunday afternoon. They should have dog biscuits tho.

I decided to try something new and get my birthday cake from here. The people I communicated with via email and phone were really helpful and friendly, but when I went in person to pick up my cake, the staff seemed annoyed and weren’t friendly at all. My cake was very pretty and looked high quality but the cake itself was not good. I got red velvet and while I liked the icing, the cake tasted like cornbread. They have a variety of items so I’d give them another chance and try something else off their menu.

Loved my 60th Birthday cake!!! Not only was it delicious! The final cake looked exactly like the photo! The bakers were so accommodating and communicated with me every step of the way! Thank you #forthrloveofsugar team! I will definitely be back! Life is sweet!!❤️

So this is my absolute favorite bakery! It's like something out of a hallmark movie. The atmosphere, the staff, the desserts, the location... it just all works!

this place has been on point with their items until recently. it seems like the prices have skyrocketed but the quality is going down. the staff is very nice and the place itself is cute, but the pazckis were not it. i’m sorry but if i’m going to pay $5 for one donut it better be filled and a decent size. the ones i received were small and barely had any filling. please do better next year!!!

I try to leave positive reviews and not bash businesses when mistakes are made, but I’m ALWAYS thrilled with this place. I’m sad to see people posting who have had years of positive experiences say they’ll never return over one incident.The service is amazing, and the product is incredible. I come here whenever I need a boost and something sweet.Support local business, this one is amazing.

I didn't dine in here but had a Doordash order delivered. I ordered the cinnamon roll and the cookie butter cinnamon roll. The cookie butter dominated the cinnamon roll taste that the cinnamon taste was negligible. My biggest gripe was I ordered one to have a birthday message written on it. The Doordash option just said "make it a celebration board" and I thought it was something special, especially being charged $6. In the end, all we got was a dap of whipped cream and "Happy Birthday" written on the board/plate with frosting or whatever you call that material you use to write on cakes. What a freaking rip off!!! The cinnamon roll cost $8 and the message cost $6. Almost as much as the cinnamon roll! Honestly, many bakeries do that for free. To pay $6 to get THAT, I felt cheated. I'll probably give this another try but AVOID getting that "make it a message board" option. Absolute rip off!
