Delicious corned beef and pastrami sandwich. Toasted bread, melty Swiss and steaming hot. Very mild rye bread. Great way to cap off a trip to the market.

First and LAST time here. Only saving grace is the guy bussing the tables. He is the ONLY person who got drinks for us and checked on us during meal. We had 2 different waitresses eager to take our order but after the cold fries and frozen burger patties were dropped off to eat neither ever came back. We asked both for our bill and said they’d be right back. After waiting for 15 min we went to waitresses who were chatting at the counter to ask for a third time for our bill. We never did get it, husband went to register and complained to the guy about never getting our bill. His response was “can’t please everyone.” Terrible experience and staff attitude!

The corned beef sandwich depicted in the picture, looks nothing like the corned beef sandwich served. Sorta on the salty side. Instead, I recommend the bean soup.

Really great customer service and coffee! Jay was my waitress and she was super friendly and knowledgeable. They have an option where you can substitute turkey sausage for the turkey lunch meat in the omelette. I'll definitely be revisiting for lunch.

Grilled rye bread and hot corned beef. You can't ask for better. There is a small meat market attached. It is on Russell Street in Eastern market.

I went to get a re order of my food that THEY MESSED UP ON! I went back the next day as I was told to! I was met with a very nasty disposition by a female clerk and was told by the male clerk that I received my order 2 times! When doordash canceled my other order! I even showed the clerk the cancellation from doordash! She then talked about a "prejudice" when I never insinuated anything about a prejudice! Next time I will just eat the tomato in which I'm allergic too and sue! So to future customers patronize a place that's respectful! I will NOT ever come back ***AND THEY STILL PUT A TOMATO ON THE RE ORDER!! Called back spoke to a different woman who said she just got there at 9am. I asked who the owner is she said Frank's Deli in a sarcastic tone!

Just love this place. The food and portions are awesome. I get 2 meals out of the Rueben and Chili. Everyone is very friendly. The service is prompt and the food is outstanding. I'll be back, you should go there too!

Outrageous Delicious food and new mega dining room addition. The number one spot in Eastern Market to eat Breakfast and Lunch without a wait for a seat. Our 2nd visit last was 4 years ago, place packed day before At Paddy's Day diner's and shoppers for Wigleys Corned Beef all located inside. Large Free parking lot and street parking right on Russell. I went with the One Pound Corned Beef sandwich on Rye with Slaw OMG so delicious and filling for 2 folks, actually a deal it $16 bucks so 8 bucks each. Had a bowl of delicious Corned Beef and Cabbage Soup outstanding and Corned Beef n Cheese Egg Rolls. She had a order of Chicken Strips spot on. Great hard working crew and fun friendly waitress made for a enjoyable experience. Looking forward to a breakfast on a Saturday visit to the market soon. #franksdeliandgrill @franksdeliandgrill #cornbeef #onepoundsandwich #cornedbeefeggrolls #easternmarketdetroit #wigleyscornedbeef #detroitclassic

Absolutely delicious! What a great lunch spot in Eastern Market. I really enjoyed the Reuben. The corned beef was sliced very thin. The menu has plenty of options from burgers and melts to wraps, sliders and quesadillas. They even have breakfast! The place is pretty small and busy, but the servers are very kind and fast-moving. Can't wait to come back!
