Asked the manager Shane to do a over the phone order she declined, then I told her I would be on the way drove all the way from 8mile and greenfield just to get here at 12:45 and the kitchen is closed….This use to be one of my late night spots but the manager and new policies that are poorly communicated suck…. I will be speaking with Shawn tomorrow about this

We went for a party of 6. There is a note on the menus that party of 6 or more is a 20% gratuity and only one check. Nothing worse than that as you are now stuck with subpar service because they are getting 20% regardless. I tip 35% when service is attentive so this always disappoints me when the server doesn’t check on the table once yet gets $30 to take an order.Took forever for our waitress to come take our order. Someone else brought 2 of the 3 cocktails and we had to ask someone else to bring the other one after 10 min passed. 25 min after ordering someone came to tell us one of the dishes (corn beef hash) was sold out so our friend ordered something else ( a BLT). The food came in waves and one person ordered chili fries no cheese and cheeses was in it. She sent it back and got what she ordered. All of a sudden all plates were served and the one that ordered the corn beef hash and had to order something else was served her corn beef hash. Surprised with that. We weren’t checked on. Had to flag down the waitress for water refill. There was no butter on the table or offered for the toast and waffles. We couldn’t ask for it because hardly anyone served the table. Upon leaving, we noticed all the other tables were provided butter.Bill came and I paid. I should have looked over the receipt more but I didn’t. I paid 185$. I get home and realized I was charged for the cheese on the chili fries AND for the substituted item (BLT) that we never got. I ended up paying over $16 for things we did not get and we were not given decent service.I hate leaving reviews like this because the food was delightful but who wants to be ripped off and have their money stolen?

Go here if you want horrible service and mediocre food! It’s pretty much still in existence because of its location and college students will eat anything. It used to be a great place years ago idk what happened but I wouldn’t allow my dog to eat here. They can’t keep management and kitchen staff. I work near by and honestly need to find another establishment for after work wine down. Rude bartender and manager.

Great menu options. Also have vegan options today I enjoyed Monte Crisco with curly fries. Portions are very nice sized. My server was kind and attentive and very well knowledgeable about the menu items. You won’t be disappointed.

Ordered the Greek omelette which came with a side of potatoes the food was cooked to absolute perfection. The potatoes were nice and crispy but nowhere near over done. The wait time to receive your food was very minimal as well therefore adding another positive thing to the overall experience .The waitress was very pleasant and attentive and overall gave great customer service. Can't wait to go back.

Had my wee grandkids because their mom was in DMC with my littlest. So a bit of stress, right? The grands were hungry, so I suggested Honest John’s. My partner questioned the wisdom of bringing an 8 and 2 year old to a bar, but hey, it was 1 in the afternoon and chicken nuggets, good burgers, can’t go wrong, right? Right! And then our server, Jeff, made our visit better than 5 stars. He brought the kids colored pencils (crayons break, he explained), and a coloring book. While we waited for our food, he brought orange slices for the kids to keep them settled.Yeah… Honest John’s is the best. Thank you Jeff!

The food is no where near worth the cost. I agree with others abt the food being cold and fries uncooked.

Love this place. Super casual atmosphere (see if you can spot all the hidden Big Boy figurines), communicative and prompt waitstaff, and great prices for standard bar fare.

Delicious bar food made with good, hearty ingredients and drinks served past midnight. Cool scene and atmosphere. You can park in the field nextdoor if you're having a hard time finding a spot along the street. $10-20 if you're just eating. $20-30 if you add a couple beers.Vegetarian options: Black bean and Impossible burgers upon request.
