So this rating is for the desserts only. My Wife and I were at the DIA not that long ago and stopped at Kresge Court for a quick snack. The crème brûlée was phenomenal. As were the donut bites. It's a fun place to stop and rest for a bit while you're exploring the DIA

I had the Kresge Club sandwich and Lavender Latte for lunch while attending the DIA. The food was really good and the wait time was only about 10 minutes which wasn't that bad considering it was a busy Saturday afternoon. I actually found the prices to be reasonable and standard for today's market. The staff were friendly and very efficient. They also serve alcohol and not just craft beers. They were running drink specials on Old Fashioned cocktails. It's in an atrium style courtyard so the atmosphere was pretty serene and calming.

My favorite place to sit and work. The diversity of seating spaces and energy really accommodates all facets you're ready for. I wish they had more gluten free options though.

This is such a beautiful court and relaxing place to enjoy a meal at a fine museum. I really enjoyed my lox and bagel with salad while my daughter liked her falafel sandwich and salad and pineapple jarrito. The lady that brought my food over was friendly, but the lady at the register could be a tad more welcoming. Lovely facility, and I am glad we came here

Chic, cozy, and a perfect cafe for the DIA. There are no bad seats, drinks, or pastries. The only "bad" thing about Kresge Court is having to leave. I've come on busy days and low trickle, and have always been able to find a seat. The staffs' warm and welcoming attitudes plus the lush, plush, and cozy furniture equal a magnificent atmosphere. Kresge is a place to study, to satiate, to converse, and to let the exquisite and astounding works of art wash over you.

Must have been there on a bad day. But my chips were stale, espresso was meh and no one was cleaning the tables so there were dirty dishes everywhere.Lovely place to sit and relax though

This place is truly magical. I love the DIA already for all the wonderful art and exhibits it contains, but Kresge Court is truly a gem amidst the gems already within the DIA. This indoor courtyard is stunning to take in and exist in and very easily accessible on the ground floor of the DIA, just a few turns away from the entrance from John R - just follow the signs directing you to Kresge Court! There's a little ordering counter tucked away in one corner of the court and features an entire menu of drinks, breakfast, and lunch fare for you to order from and all the food and drink is genuinely very good. There are a ton of different seating areas - couches, tables, high-tops, etc. - so it's the perfect place for all sorts of gatherings. Whether you're catching up with friends over a little meal before venturing into the rest of the museum or stopping in to have a business meeting - I've done it all here and it's the perfect setting for all of it. During busier hours - afternoons, especially on weekends - you might be hard pressed to find open seating here, but I think the turnover is relatively quick a lot of the times since there's so much to do within the DIA, so you probably won't need to wait around for long to find a spot. In the meantime, might I suggest a turn about the museum??

Although it's part of the DIA, I think that this is a very slept on cafe, with one of the coolest interiors in the city. They have a TON of space, so they're a great option to go to and know that there's space to either hang out or work out of. The coffee is great and they have multiple breakfast and lunch food options. Definitely one of the better hidden gems in Detroit and a really great place to take friends.

Located inside the wonderful DIA! Great spot to relax, eat and sip some coffee! Simple menu of foods to order, grab and go, coffee, beer, wine and more!

Everything was very nice, the vibe is laid back. Very calm atmosphere and the lighting is nice. The food and drink selection is heavy for such a small cafe. The food was very fresh and good. The service was also nice and fast, genuine.
