Moved to Detroit from Los Angeles and we were so sad to leave all the amazing Mexican food behind but when we found Los Corrales we felt right at home! Everything is fresh and flavorful! You know the foods going to be good when Tio is out back smoking the meats! 100% recommend eating here!!

I called to make an order of 4 pollo asado and was on hold after I tried to make an order as she said she needed to check to see if there was chicken for my order. Never received a response and was just on hold while she was helping other customers that were there at the restaurant. If you take a call finish with that customer and their order and not leave them on hold.
Went with a friend and this place was great! I got the Lunch Special that consisted of 2 chicken street tacos, refried beans, and rice. Very good! Took me back to California haha! ?

This restaurant has an authentic feel with most of the staff speaking spanish and entertainment like Flamenco and Mariachi. The food is amazing, is reasonably priced and comes from the kitchen quickly. The service is quick and it provides a great opportunity to practice my Spanish.The chips and salsa here are great. Some restaurants give you a little bit of chips and salsa but this place gives you an entire bottle of fresh salsa with your chips.I am amazed that I can leave my house, drive to this restaurant, order/consume my food and be home in 30 minutes. I can't prepare a meal that quickly at home.
