This review is for the Marrow location that just opened in Comerica Park. I went there today on what I believe is their second day open. I fell and hit my head while trying to sit on a broken bar stool. Comerica first aid and security staff came promptly and were great, but the actual Marrow staff did nothing other than asking if I was OK from afar. I was told their manager was going to come talk to me - never did, even though I was there for over 30 minutes after the accident. Staff cluelessly brought out my food while first aid staff from the park were checking me out. My burger was cold and barely edible by the time I tried to eat it. Considering their establishment injured me to the extent I had 3 first aid people with me, I was pretty shocked by Marrow's apathy to the situation. I had to pay for my cold food and was offered absolutely nothing to acknowledge they injured me - apology or otherwise. Pretty much the worst dining and customer experience I've had in my life. Do better.

This will forever be my favorite spot in Detroit to splurge. Every time I go here I am amazed at the Chef's Choice preset menu. The cocktail and wine program is 12/10. Not only was the food incredible (especially the lamb) but the staff was fantastic! They were super accommodating for my no dairy needs and everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly.

Awesome experience celebrating an anniversary. Marrow made us feel special & welcome. The food was delectable & the staff were all so kind & genuinely seemed like they enjoyed working there which made the experience even better. We will definitely be back to try some beef tartar & bone marrow next time! Highly recommend the chef’s tasting menu!!!

After hearing great things about Marrow, my group of four decided to experience their tasting menu with beverage pairings. However, we were disappointed by the service, especially considering the price point. Two out of the six beverage pairings were delivered well after the course was served and completed, disrupting the flow of the meal. Additionally, during one course, three of us received our plates promptly while one member of our party was left waiting. Although the missing plate was eventually provided after we reminded the staff, such inconsistency is unwelcome in a tasting menu format where timing is crucial.Regarding the food, the trout dish stood out as exceptional, offering a nice balance between land and sea. However, the remaining courses ranged from satisfactory to merely good. Notably, the salad was under-seasoned, failing to meet expectations.Despite Marrow's high reputation, our disappointing experience has left us hesitant about returning. Given the abundance of great tasting menus available in the Metro Detroit area, we are inclined to explore other options for our future dining endeavors.

Had our first lunch. Smash burger and mushroom dumplings. Both were VERY good and service was EXCELLENT! Best burger ever!Cannot wait to come for dinner.
My wife and I came here for her birthday. Excellent drinks (including a non-alcoholic cocktail for me). Food was excellent, we had two starts, a salad, and two main dishes and shared everything. Everything was amazing, well portioned and well balanced. Service and atmosphere was also great. Would definitely come back and plan to come back to shop the market side.

Truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Detroit. Our serve Arie and the entire staff made the experience so enjoyable, giving honest recommendations and timing everything perfectly. Every single dish was a 10/10 (the Caramelized French Onion Toast was my absolute favorite). We cannot wait to come back and try every item on the menu!

Strictly with regard to the butcher shop, this is not a joint that exemplifies the generational craft of high quality meat cuts. If you're looking for a tried and true staple of Detroit I would go to eastern market, specifically Ronnie's Meats.

My experience at Marrow was absolutely incredible. The food was amazing! Our server , Arie was the absolute best! She made honest recommendations when we had questions. She was efficient and friendly. She made the experience even better! Don’t miss out on this restaurant. It is the best in Detroit dining.

Top notch! We chose the chef's menu - this day it was based on interpretation of New York Deli favorites. All 6 courses were superb, the dessert was absolute best I've ever had in my mouth. Atmosphere was darling, parking right in front of restaurant was as breeze and I totally fan girled from afar over Chef Welch Will def be back!
