There was a line outside the restaurant, and despite it being almost empty and a bus person walking by every 45 seconds, no one was seated. After waiting about 5 min., I decided to take a seat at the bar. The bartender served me immediately and I made the mistake of ordering a salad. The chicken was what you’d expect from an airport Cesar salad, but the lettuce was not fresh and I had to pick out occasional entirely liquified green muck. The chocolate cake was very good, though.

The chicken tortilla soup was amazing and the drink and honey coca cola honey BBQ Wings. The server was not friendly at all. Very sarcastic, you can tell she hates her job. I waitressed for over twenty years and I always was bubbly and polite even it was busy or if I had a bad day.

I purchased 2 draft Stella beers that were listed on the menu for 9.99 eachThe max and Erma’s at the Detroit airport charged me 25.98 for the two draft beersWhen I mentioned the price difference with our server, she caught an attitude and said“Fine! I will get a manager”We had a plane to board so we left and were unsatisfied with this experienceI will file a complaint with the corporate office and the state of Michigan

Don't go here. Sat for 10 minutes. They did not even say hello. Asked for a menu from a hostess and got an irritated attitude in return cuz I was interrupting her interaction with the other hostess. Place was half full. 2 hostesses. Almost no one waiting to get in. 2 servers. 1 bartender. Bartender was nice. Servers were overloaded. Hostesses we're doing not a lot. Not sure what the issue was. I've always had a pleasant experience at Max and Ermas which is why I skipped all the other places to come here. Left sad

The food was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the coffee. I got the breakfast sandwich and being airport food it's always a lot of money for what you get.
Seat inside to order food to go and got told I had to wait outside. Server Deanna was really rude, very bad attitude and service. She throw me my receipt and miserably gave me my food.

Great place for a sit down meal and some comfort food! Max & Erma's is by gates A17. Service was a little slow which is a bit concerning if you are trying to catch a flight. However, if you have a lot of time to kill then a perfect place to eat and to get a full meal. Our server was friendly and attentive. Inside is clean and comfortable. They also have a nice bar. Plenty of seating throughout. Went with the classic tortilla soup which tasted great but such a small portion. Also got the black bean burger which was delicious. Good flavorful that packed a punch. Also came with a side salad which hit the spot and a good choice when flying - no fried or heavy foods!

Was having a grumpy day after a long day of travel. And unexcited about overpriced airport food. Waitress (Ashley I think) was super nice and sociable. She was very knowledgeable about beer questions someone asked. She put me in a good mood. Brought out beers fast which I needed. Food was good and good size portions.

Rudest waitress ever. Set money out for the bill. She took it then threw the money and receipt at the cash register complaining about the tip. She didn't see the remaining tip on the table by our platrs. I spoke to another waitress and she said they get alot of complaints on her and to pick up the remaining money. I said no, and didn't care if she took it. Very rude, will not go back there....
