Pros:The drinks and food we ordered were good once we finally received it.The music being played was good via Dj.Cons:Waited too long to be greeted at our table.Service was horrible.All three waitresses were on their cell phones, taking selfies, going live, and grooming themselves while we were waiting for various things. Constantly had to remind my server that she didn't bring something, only to look across the room, and she's on her phone or grooming and saying she forgot.Food was served in carry out containers with plastic ware. (which we had to ask for multiple times)Didn't receive any sauces or condiments with our food until after asking several times.Menu very limited (but after we were finally greeted, we were told that "they were out of about half of their menu")20% gratuity included automaticallyI am a good tipper, so that's not an issue to me. (I just understood why the server had little effort in her work she knew her tip was coming regardless of her service)Sad to say, I will not be returning, and the reason I say Sad is that I go out my way to support local businesses.Do better!

Was looking to try something new before attending a concert downtown and was highly disappointed in the service. Ordered drinks and one of the drinks (which was asked for on the rocks) was served with no ice, so asked for ice and it took 15 minutes. The food menu was very limited, we were informed that a lot of the items were unavailable. From the limited selection we choose catfish nuggets, fries and egg rolls. Waited about 25 minutes for food and it was given in Styrofoam containers, no silverware, no napkins, no condiments. Waitress dropped at table and left, and trying to get her attention was near impossible. She was busy talking to other waitress or the phone. The other waitress was busy taking selfies and on Facebook live. Asked for water twice. What's even crazier is that it was probably 5 people sitting at the bar and another 10 people sitting at tables on the dining floor, so was not that busy. Finally got her attention for silverware and condiments. The worst part is that they charge 20% gratuity for party of 2, so poor service doesn't matter because they will receive a tip regardless. I would understand 10% then if service is good we would tip extra but 20 for 2 people seems wrong. They only reason I gave 2 stars was because the food was actually pretty good, but poor service can ruin a meal

I like that they are giving more options to grade on. Only reason I have them a 4 is because I had 2 eat and drinkwith plastic utensils. Besides that the food was awesome I really enjoyed it. Glad Google took me there. The chicken was awesome but small. Flavor was amazing. Crockets were amazing and that sauce.... omg. So good.

The food was great, the owner was there and you can tell he really cares about the place. The chef came out, the bartender was great. I haven't been to a place that cared this much in so long. The service made the experience here. Next time we visit Detroit, we will come back here! Totally worth it!

Went here on two separate occasions. The first time I was there the food was subpar and over priced. The food didn't come out all at once, they gave us pieces of our meal as it was plated. For our food to come as it was plated, it was still cold. Also would like to note we were served on disposable plates with plastic cutlery. The service was also subpar. Waitress was very nonchalant and when asked questions about the menu her response was "I don't know, I don't even work here for real." Only giving them two stars because I went back for a party (no food or service required). Aesthetically, the place is cute inside.

I love this place everytime I am in Detroit I go to this place. They have the best food and I love the atmosphere. It's not for kids to come to age limit is 25+. Which is one of the things I love about it. They will host parties for you and everything. If you don't like loud music then this place is not for you but to me I love it 5 ⭐ across the board.Parking: We arrived after 10pm so we didn't have to pay for parking. There is a pay lot on both sides one was charging 10$ I'm not sure about the other lot because of open street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes the building is wheelchair accessible.
Food is OK. We had the Chicken & Waffles ... and Steak & Eggs from the Brunch menu. Nothing special about either. The steak was served cut into pieces with onions and peppers and not whole. Service was the best of anything. Our server was outstanding. She would be the reason to return

As a lover of soul food, this place has won my heart. Steps away from my hotel here in downtown Detroit, I made the absolute best choice coming here this morning. They have a full bar, and the brunch is to die for. I never order fish, but they set the standard for anyone else I ever decide to order fries fish from. The grits were flavorful, hot, creamy, eggs beautiful and yellow, fish with the delicate crispy crust and melt in your mouth tender, just everything with everything. Wish I could give more stars!!

I paid $39 for two shots of casamigos. Considering all of the places you can visit in this area with fair pricing and equal entertainment. I’ll never go back.

Chicken Alfredo Pasta is out of this world! Stepped in for an early dinner after work in the city and my God was the food, staff, and atmosphere just better than great! Highly recommend checking this place out.
