Stopped in specifically for the BEST carrot cake ever! They used to be Solsnus Ctr Healing Service but now have a beautiful cafe there! Hope Café. Inside the new expanded gift shop. Absolutely wonderful! The people & the products. I thank God ahead of time for Bl. Fr. Solanus & the wonderful things he has done for all of us & the continued success of the staff & bakery. Amazing! We love the build-your-own sandwich business model. It is great to have a lovely lunch and support a wonderful cause. The view of the gardens being built is really nice through big windows and lots of light. The sandwich ingredients are top notch and fresh. The breads they bake for the sandwiches are scrumptious. The pies,cakes,and bread loaves are really tasty at a great price. This cafė is behind the chapel. It is a great stop when visiting Detroit or learning more about your home town. Many exhibits to check out.

There's 7 up pound cake is freaking amazing!!!! Everything this bakery does taste so good!! Everything here is real down to earth, home cooked, homespun good stuff!!! You won't find any of that Instagram pretty fluff that taste like nothing here... Everything here looks good... And sticks to your ribs!!! If you are in the area or have a birthday planned!!! Make sure to call him up and get you a cake!!!
