Beautiful restaurant…softly lit interior with rustic brick walls…perfect for a date night! l ordered their “Ragout Alla Bolognese” and house-made bread. The bolognese was pretty good, only because it too “porky” for ME! However, the bread…oh my god. So fresh, warm, flavorful (topped with herbs), and fluffy!! Reminded me of focaccia, so delicious. Our waitress was a sweetheart as well!

I have been here in the past and the food is great. Looking to go back this week, in the middle of a busy NFL draft week.Unfortunately since we are a party of four, Ottava Via REFUSES to give us a reservation, which are only for parties of five or more.I guess business is so good that their convenience is more important than my time. I’m not going to drive 30 minutes to roll the dice on whether I can get a table, or be asked to wait 30 more minutes to be seated. - and you shouldn’t either. I dine out a fair amount and this is a first, a disappointing policy that I hope will be reconsidered.

Our amazing server was Jacob and he provided great recommendations. Our appetizer and our meals were phenomenal. We ordered the Pecorino Cheese Plate as our appetizer per his recommendation and it was a culinary experience. We will definitely return on our next trip to Detroit.

The food was absolutely amazing! The ingredients were fresh and every single dish we ordered was perfectly flavored. The shrimp garlic butter was delicious. The calamari was crispy and soft at the same time. The Bianca pizza hands down - best white pizza I’ve had. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I loved(!) the two dishes pictured (Sausage and Peppers small plate with the creamiest most delicious polenta, plus the Ragout Alla Bolognese). Also the bread service and spread. The bread in the bruchetta was amazing too.Wasn't a fan of the Margherita pizza, or the parmesan in the bruchetta spread.

I've been here a few times on dates and the staff has always been nothing but friendly, it almost felt like they were my besties with how friendly they were (but not too friendly)The food there comes out at a decent time and has never once failed to impress me with the quality. The restaurant is clean and cozy and gives off a neat "at home" vibe.I have moved to Florida since last time I was there but if I find myself in the area I will definitely be looking for this place againOverall this place has quite the charm and I recommend checking it out
