Stopped by almost a year ago and I can't wait to visit again. The food was great. The service was warm. The building--magnificent. Wishing you all well!

Maybe a bit bougie by Detroit standards but pretty laid-back feeling to a New Yorker. But none of that matters much, as the atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was super nice and of course the food was absolutely delicious. They also have great vegetarian options!

Great food! Simple but full of flavor! Always busy! I can't wait for them to re-open. I'll be the first in line!

Cute interior decor, nice and laid back feel. It's super busy on the weekend so I went midweek during late morning to get a spot at the bar. I tried to go on the weekend a few times with no success, lengthy waits and no parking. It's an old corner relic of a building in Detroit. I was able to find a parking spot on the street. I can imagine it would be difficult on the weekends to find a spot. I ordered the veggie assemble and the stuffed French toast. As it wasn't super busy the food was out pretty quickly. The veggie assemble was decent as was the stuffed French toast. I want to try some other sweet brunch times next time or the more savory lunch items next time. The food presentation is always appealing. The food

Everything about our brunch experience ROCKED. Delicious food, interesting drinks, and the best damn Bloody Mary mix possible. Leah, our waitress, was awesome and made great suggestions and never made us feel rushed. We will absolutely be back.

Very cool classic diner with a bit of a modern twist. Located in an amazing old building the space has a counter plus tables giving it the feel of a classic diner but the menu is mainly made of dishes that have a 'twist' on classics. Had steak and eggs, shrimp cake benedict and brisket nachos (best of the three) - all were very good. Also have full bar and nice selection of drinks. Service was great and prices are reasonable but not 'cheap'. Definitely recommended for breakfast or lunch.

I've had Parks & Rec Diner on my list to check out for awhile, simply because I loved the TV show, and it did not disappoint. While the diner actually has nothing to do with the show, it's quaint and subtly decorated with Detroit Parks & Rec memorabilia. It's quite small, with limited seating, so I chose to sit in a stool at the counter. I also thought this would make service faster, but that was not the case. No one greeted me for awhile, as I awkwardly sat there. Finally, one of the workers behind the counter came over and gave me a menu, then service was fine from there. I ordered the avocado toast and added an egg to it, and it may have been one of the best avocado toasts I have had in my life! They add a goat cheese spread, as well as some honey to it, and it's delicious! I also loved that their fruit cup was assorted berries, as opposed to the usual melons and cantaloupes.

The location, building and inside of the diner is really cute. The staff is so kind and helpful with selections. But overall the food was not that great. We got the cast iron French toast (initially delicious but then the more you eat it’s just too sweet and doesn’t taste much like French toast), curry and eggs (alright, way too many potatoes, not enough eggs and overall not wowed by the flavor combo) and Raclette omelette (delicious! Highly recommended).
Great small place for. Sunday brunch!! Now look...it's not fancy. You think brunch, you might think fancy, but it says it in its name...it's a diner. It's small, friendly, well run and wonderfully not fancy. You're going to wait for brunch, but they have coffee you can help yourself to in to go cups, so the wait is fine!! The menu is small, but the food is wonderful! The service was quick and the food was hot. The coffee was very good, too. Regarding waiting...they take names and it's very organized. They will text you when it's your turn. We had mimosas and they really weren't very good and came in a water glass. Sorry..I want a prettier glass. That's just me. Not going to take away a star for that, though. I'll definitely go there again!!

Cosy corner brunch place, with amazing, locally sourced, and seasonal food. My personal favorite in the city. Alcoholic brunch beverages also available. Busy on weekends (10m wait). Street parking nearby and easy to find.

GET THE FRENCH TOAST! My husband and ordered our own meals (both got the Standard), then split the French toast because it sounded good. Honestly, I'm not sure what could have made it any better. It was so amazing and came out in a skillet, huge butter scoop and syrup. The was crispy on the top. Just wow. The standard breakfast, I got scrambled eggs, bacon, house fries, and toast. It was wonderful! The place only seats 30 people or so? Yelp has a waitlist set up so we signed up for that. I would say we were seated about 20 minutes later than yelp estimated, but that was fine. There was a large party ahead of us so I think that threw their wait time off. Highly recommended!!!
