WOW!!! The food & service were amazing!! It's hard to find great sushi and this place is the real deal. Not only is the food delicious (kind of the most important part) but the service and employees are so nice and professional! We are from out of town but boy we wish we lived here .... I think we would be here at least once a week! I already want to come back for more food! Def would recommend and give 10 stars if it was an option!

Great food but showed up at four ten and there were people waiting outside because that's when their business hours state. They were inside and could have opened the doors for drinks while they finished prepping.

Not pretentious + pricey but instead carefree and playful and kind. Our sushi was super fresh and absolutely delicious. Ownership / staff was welcoming + knowledgeable + genuinely sincere and sweet. Happy Hour drew us in (Nachos are espec yummy!) and everything in addition-to will see us being drawn *back* in. Way to go!!

Omg, I could literally eat their Caterpillar roll everyday. EVERYDAY. So good and fresh. They are super consistent and fast. I always do takeout, so can't wait to dine in!

First and foremost I need to say how much we absolutely love everything about this restaurant.Ownership.Atmosphere.Staff.The amazing sushi!My significant other was never interested in eating sushi while i myself absolutely love it!Convinced her to go to Goblin with me and she absolutely fell in love.The menu is very concise. It's not overloaded with choices. I'm assuming it's by design as the rolls they offer are all wonderful!They have terrific monthly specials as well that had to your choices.Inside tip. Try the sushi nachos.They're amazing.If you're looking for sushi in Detroit this is the place.

Absolutely loved my experience at The Goblin. Fresh fish, friendly faces, and an excellent selection sushi rolls. My seat at the bar was filled with talk from the chef/owner and felt very welcome. I will definitely be back for more of the Otoro! ?
