I finally had a chance to visit the highly regarded, Hudson Cafe. It was worth the wait...delicious food, outstanding service by Julian, and the atmosphere was full of good vibes. Can't wait to go back.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options on the menu. The chef was able to remove dairy products from my menu selection to fit my preferences.Parking: Down the block from the restaurant, there is a huge parking garage. Plenty of spaces. $12 for 2 hours, on a weekday.Kid-friendliness: We took a group of elementary school children there, and it was perfect. The servers were patient and accommodating. Now, the food orders were huge, so most of the children had to go boxes. We saw other children there with families - babies, toddlers, teens, etc.

My friends and I were very excited to visit this restaurant. We had a lovely toffee coffees and chai tea lattes to start our meal. Unfortunately the food was cold and far too sweet. My meal was also served with a side of guacamole and drowned in some sort of salsa which was clearly from a package. In addition, we had very limited interaction with our waitress.

Good food, large portions, nice service. No information about charging a 20% tip in advance. Tipping is a privilege rather than a necessity. Everyone works for an agreed wage, and if the employer is unable to pay the employees otherwise, he should work for the additional 20% skimmed from the clients.Disgraceful behavior.

The manager greeted us by gruffly saying the kitchen closes in 5 minutes but also leaving me sitting at the bar waiting for our server to get our table ready. The food was decent but the kitchen messed up two out of 5 orders.
Very loud and mid food. Even if you have a reservation you’ll have to wait. They’re busy because of location not because of quality.

Had reservations on Opening Day (4/5) The place was packed and was seated in under 5:00 minutes from checking in. Had the homemade corned beef hash and potatoes, side of pancakes. There was so much corned beef it was absolutely fantastic! I am not a big pancake person but their panaceas were light and just delicious as well. Best pancake and corned beef hash I've ever had. Portions were big, I couldn't finish it all. My buddy had the berry berry stuffed French toast, he raved about it as well. Price was reasonable, service was quick, absolutely will head back again. It was clean, loved the design/layout and it was in a nice location within a 5 minute walk to Comerica.

Food was great besides the dry ham I got said thick cuts was very thin and dried out quickly. Service was amazing my waiter was Phil and made sure I was taking care of at all times. The decor was nice and pleasant.
